Of Rainy Nights & Long Loves.

It was Cove's thirteenth birthday and they'd just got done with most of the typical things like the presents and cake. Briley had been over to wish him a happy birthday but the boy was gone now. Cove's parents had gone back up to their room since it was getting quite late after all. But Cove couldn't seem to go to bed. He sat in a chair that he'd moved up against the window, his face smushed against the cool glass as he watched the rain pouring down outside. He was sort of tempted to go out there, just to relax.

"You and that window got something going on?" Misery asked softly, leaning over Cover to stare outside with him. In his hand he held a bag of chips for munching, and with his other hand he squeezed the young boys shoulder. As he peered outside, he clicked his tongue. "The rain is pretty." He had always liked rainy days, he liked sleeping through them. "Makes me sleepy."
He had stayed down stairs with Cove, much like he usually did. Misery seldom wasnt with the boy when he was not working. Ever since Cove had been an infant Misery had taken to him, going as far as switching from sleeping at the foot of Rhett's bed to the foot of Cove's, just to make sure the boy slept okay and to be there if he was needed.

Cove glanced up at Misery with a grin. He'd grown fond of Misery. The boy was always there no matter what he needed. When he got sick, Misery made him soup and sat by his side in case he needed anything, when he was sad, Misery never failed to cheer him up and when he was angry, Misery was even there for him to hit, although he never did that much, and when he did he ended up feeling guilty and pampering the pet for at least a week. He loved Misery more than anything.
"Ya should come outside weth meh." He noted, reaching a hand out to grasp Misery's.

Misery glanced back out to the pouring sky, his fingers curling around Cove's hand.
"Fine, but we nap afterwards." The boy nodded his head, his wild mane of hair waving as he did so. He tugged Cove up, and the darted for the door. He tore it open and lead the young boy outside, grinning as the droplets landed on his face.
"Woot!"
He felt like a child, running around in the rain.

Cove wore a goofy grin as he followed Misery outside, his laughter ringing in the other's ears.
He reached out to take both of Misery's hands, dancing around with him, although he really had no clue how to dance.

Misery couldn't help but let a grin crack his face as he held onto Cove's hands. He opened his arms as widely as he could, spinning around with the other boy in a circle as the rain washed down on them.
As they danced randomly in their circle, Misery couldn't help but sing.
"Ring-a-round a rosie!A pocket full of posies!" He squeaked with delight as his eyes found Cove's face. "Ashes! Ashes! We all fall down!" And he did, he fell into Cove, his arms winding tight around the boys torso as he continued to bounce, his laugh moving with him.

Cove laughed with him as he fell to the damp ground, Misery pressed tight to his chest.
He didn't bother getting up, just laying there with Misery in his arms, staring up at the rain pouring down on them with a grin on his face.
He found himself staring at Misery, his smile becoming even goofier as he took in the boy's features. He'd always found Misery beautiful and as he grew older, he dared to say he'd even developed a crush on the elder of the two.

Misery stared down at him, his hair wet and instead of it its usual wild fluff, it was all plastered down to his face, framing his sharp features. His eyes washing over Cove's face, warm and brown on the boy as his smile hurt his cheeks. He adored Cove, he loved every aspect of their relationship. He just enjoyed being around for the boy.
He liked how the rain fell on Cove's face, the boy tried to be all tough but he was really cute under Misery like this.

Cove reached up to brush some wet hair from Misery's face, smiling lightly, even as he felt blood rushing to his cheeks. He was normally quite confident but Misery on top of him like this was sort of driving him crazy.
"Ah like yar hair better dry." He noted with a light smile. He adored the unruly mess that was Misery's man of hair.

Misery sat up, one leg folded on either side of Cove's torso, sitting atop Cove's lap. He had not meant to be in such a sexual position with the boy, he wasn't even thinking of anything like that. He was more concerned with how adorable Cove was with all the heat in his cheeks.
"Me too." He agreed, throwing his head back to get it all out of his face, his body sliding lightly as he moved. Once it was back he shook his head as if he were a dog, his hair, though still wet, rested unruly against his neck and cheeks. "Can't help it though till it is dry." He reached out to gently tug some of Cove's hair, lowering down to lightly play with the wet strands, not noting how close their face were, or how their chests pressed together rather firmly.

Cove averted his gaze, hating how uncomfortable this was making him. He cursed to himself as he felt his member rising. Yes, he was a thirteen year old boy just going through puberty, he got hard from nearly anything. Misery was just so gorgeous. He just hoped the other boy would not notice.

Misery let his face fall in the crook of Cove's neck, his lips against the damp skin there. He had not really paid their position much mind, until he felt Cove's erection lightly poking him.
A Cheshire grin split his face, a small laugh finding its way from his mouth.
"Awh! My little Cove is growing up!" He mock cooed to the boy, one of his favorite pastimes was antagonizing Cove.
For good measure he made sure to shift his hips, rubbing his groin against Cove's.

"Shut up." Cove grunted softly, one of his hands running through the boy's hair. He just couldn't help himself, his hips moving up into Misery. "Stohp that.." He groaned.

"Stop what?" Misery cocked his head to the side as if he were innocent. He knew exactly what he was doing, so he continued to do it, his groin rubbing over Cove's teasingly. He eyed the boy under him, enjoying the way Cove squirmed. Absentmindedly he wondered if he were the first to rub himself against the boy in this manner.

"Teasin' meh." Cove sighed, a low whine slipping past his parted lips. "Misereh..." He had never touched anyone like this before. Sure, he'd jerked off several times, he was a teenage boy after all, but Misery was the first to be on him like this.

"Hmm?" Misery glanced down at him, only to halt his moving. "Am I making uncomfortable?" He didn't want that. He had just been playing with the boy after all.

"Noh, ah just.." Cove rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, not sure how to say it. "Yar makin' meh hot." He admitted, flushing even deeper.

Misery's laugh rang out, his grin so wide it ached.
"I can feel that." He winked down to Cove, sitting back up on the boy with a smile. "And its adorable."

"Then get offa meh so ah can take care of et." Cove groaned softly. "Yar makin' et worse." He was getting so hard it hurt and he was even more embarrassed.

"Lemme get this straight, you wanna leave me alone out here to go jack off?" Misery couldn't stop giggling at the boy under him. He pretended to just be trying to get comfortable only as an excuse to further more rub himself against Cove. He was rather flattered that the boy had gotten hard because of him.

"Noh, ya can come inside with meh, ya just have ta let meh go jack off quick unless ya want ta deal with meh being horneh all night." Cove chuckled softly, looking up at the other as their groins rubbed together.

"You can be horny all night, I don't mind." Misery winked down at him, rolling off of the boy and into the wet soil, landing in a puddle.
"I could so just swim right here." The older boy laughed, lightly flailing around in the water.

Cove smiled over at him as he stood, brushing some dirt from his back. He was about to go inside by himself but something made him stop. He scooped up Misery as well, pressing the boy into his arms.
"Ya comin' inside weth meh?"

"I guess so." Misery nodded, his arms winding around Cove's neck. "Only because you went and got me up, I was having a nice time being a fish." He was acting like a child but it was Misery, it could not be helped. "And you owe me a nap and more food."

Cove nodded his head, holding Misery close as he entered the home. He went and got a bag of chips for the boy from the kitchen before heading into the bedroom, lying down and sitting Misery by his side.
