Gabriel chuckled at Angel, hugging the boy to his chest. It was amusing seeing Angel grossed out by their son in the bedroom instead of him for once.

"You guys!" Leon whined pitifully, tugging the covers over his head. "Thats my mom and dad..." He even sounded as though it had lifted his spirits. Angel whined with his grandson, moving over to curl beside the boy. They both did not get enjoyment out of that but it did make them feel better.

Gabriel chuckled, moving to hold them both.

Angel looked petrified, covering his face with his hands as Leon ducked himself under Cove's arms.
"Im not loud, am I?" He asked softly to his lover, his bald head smooth against he lover.

Angel and Leon shared a look both covering their face with their hands.

Another month or so passed, Leon's condition worsened though he was still fighting, or trying too. The boy had gotten a pale color, his lips normally blue or purple. He could not get off of his breathing machine and Chemo seemed to be kicking him in the teeth. He had tried to pull his feeding tube out two more times since the last attempt, but usually though when he would wake in the middle of the night from some dream and be stricken. Tonight had been peaceful enough, until he awake with a start, warmth between his legs. His eyes shifting down he realized with a heart clenching pain that he had soiled the bed.
He simply turned his face away, unsure of what to do so he simply cried, his stomach revolting against him.

Cove had been sound asleep until he felt the warmth slowly crawling over towards him. He was a bit confused at first as he sat up, rubbing sleep out of his eyes. And then the stench hit him. Oh god.
He ran a hand down his face. Taking care of Leon was so exhausting... he just didn't know what to do anymore.
"Love..." He whispered, gently trying to wake the boy.

Leon was awake though, leaned on his side as his stomach churned and bile found its way into his mouth.
"I-Im sorry." The boy covered his face with his arm, coughing as the acidic liquid burned him. This was misery and he really was tired of it.

"Et's... et's okay love." Cove nodded lightly, slowly standing and taking Leon into his arms, trying to ignore the stench as he thought of how to go about this. He had to clean the sheets before cleaning Leon and himself up. He sighed, sitting Leon down in a chair in the corner of the room. "Stay there for meh, love?"

Leon looked at him rather blankly, his eyes dull as he lurched forward, the contents of his stomach spilling from his mouth and splattering into his lap, the floor and Cove.
This only made Leon cry harder, though he could not stop it. He snatched off his oxygen mask, squalling as it had forced the puke all over his face and into his nose, almost choking him.

Cove winced as the puke hit him, bringing an all new, yet equally nauseating smell. Wonderful. He nearly felt like sitting down and just crying, himself. But he leaned in, pressing a kiss to Leon's head.
"Et'll beh okay love, don't cry." He promised softly. He could not clean this right now. He needed to sit down and calm down... He turned to the bed before remembering, yes, the bed was completely soaked.

And Leon only cried harder as more bile forced its way from his stomach. He doubled over, his arms wrapped tight around himself as he vomited. This is why he honestly did not want to live anymore, this was not living this was just dying and it sucked and Leon just wanted it to stop and he wanted not to see that look on Cove's face and know he was the reason it was there.

Cove looked like hell, large bags under his eyes from the sleep he'd been depriving himself of for weeks now. He was lucky to get several hours a night. He was so stressed, he didn't know how to handle all this.
He couldn't do this by himself anymore..

He gently knocked on the door and waited.

There were the sounds of fumbling and soon enough the door opened to reveal Rhett, his brow hair matted to his head, his face covered in whiskers as he looked down to Cove with sleep glazed eyes. He leaned against the door frame, his skin covered in goosebumps from the loss of warmth he had in bed.
