District 1, winner of the 29th hunger games, Sterling.
Age of reaping: 16
Days in arena: 43
Instead of using brute strength like most winners from his district, Sterling knew he was not strong enough to take on some of those other tributes, so he took advantages of his own strengths. His looks and his skills of persuasion. Sterling spent the entire competition hiding behind the other tribute from his district who was much larger than him. He only killed and fought when it was necessary, mainly letting the other career tributes do the work for him. He waited until it was just the two of them from District 1 left before stabbing the other boy in the back. Literally.

District 2, winner of the 53 hunger games, Roman
Age of reaping: 17
Days in arena: 38
Roman had trained his entire life for the games, growing up with the belief that it was the only way he could bring honor to his district. He was driven by the knowledge that if he died, his family would eventually starve to death, but if he were to win, they would all be set for life. He was seventeen at the time of his reaping, and turned eighteen while in the arena. There he was the first tribute into the cornucopia, conquering it and assuring no other child would benefit from its resources. It was this way that many of the other tributes came to slowly starve and dehydrate. The only water in the arena was hidden in the many bags throughout the cornucopia. The children who did not die of hunger or exhaustion tried their luck with Roman, a much swifter death.

District 3, Winner of the 54 hunger games, Zach
Age of reaping: 16
Days in arena: 30
Zach chose a much subtler strategy to help him win the games. He had been training his entire life for this, of course, and by the time he was chosen at the reaping, he was a skilled assassin. He made no allies going into the arena. He grabbed only what he needed from the cornucopia before finding himself a spot hidden deep in the forest. From that point on, he would only leave to hunt the others at night, picking off the other tributes one by one until he was the last one standing. His methods of killing them varied, and it began to seem to viewers at home like he even enjoyed the process.

District 4, winner of the 61 hunger games, Sawyer
Age of reaping: 12
Days in arena: 17
Being from a career district, Sawyer had been preparing for the games ever since he could stand.  He hadn't expected what the reality of it would be for him.  Never thought he would be picked off at his first official reaping.  He was able to hold his ground for the two weeks of training, but as soon as he entered the arena, none of that mattered. As soon as the games started, Sawyer made himself scarce. His initial plan had been to take over the cornucopia and pick his opponents off as they came for resource, but instead the fear had been overwhelming and he had run, grabbed his partner and tried for hiding place. He spent ten days running, like a wild animal being chased.  On that tenth day though, he and his district partner had been cornered.  Before Sawyer knew it, his partner had been killed, head bashed in by a boulder, his blood coating everything. This was when everything changed.  Something snapped inside Sawyer. His mind completely blanked out, and for the remaining seven days he killed viciously. He used his hands and teeth, took blows and bites from god only knows what. The odds had been in his favor that year.  The arena was mostly water, and being from the fishing district, Sawyer had the advantage.  He caught his last opponent on land, pinned the boy down, and proceeded to tear into his neck and face, his teeth peeling away chunks of flesh and artery.  The game makers had to send a team to make him stop.

District 5, winner of 57 hunger games, Chandler
Age of reaping: 18
Days in arena: 56
Chandler was bitter going into the games.  It had been his last year in the reaping pool, and it was just his luck that he wouldnt make it out completely unscathed. It got even better though, because just after his name had been called, his lovers name was echoed as the second tribute. In those moments, before the announcer had even finished the name, Chandler was working up a way to get him out.  Chandler struggled through everything in the games, being he was from a poor district and received no help, but for the most part he and his partner became fan favorites, the crowds adoring Chandlers endless devotion to getting his district lover out alive.  Of course this brought on the unwanted attention of the game makers. They slowly gathered all the remaining tributes to the center of the arena, adding new goodies to the cornucopia before forcing Chandler and his partner to head in that direction, driven by a skin eating acid rain.  Once they all met up, another blood bath ensued. It resulted in total destruction.  The only children left standing were Chandler, his partner, and one career from district 2.  Chandler fought with the boy, managed to land a fatal punch to his nose, driving the bone there up into the other tributes brain.  He turned back to his lover, ready to sacrifice himself if it meant the boy could go home.  It was too late though.  While he had been busy with the district 2 boy, one of the tributes he had thought to be dead had managed to get up, and they had stabbed Chandler's lover in his throat with a tiny razor blade.  He was named winner after strangling the only remaining tribute.

District 7, winner of the 63 hunger games, Jesse
Age of reaping: 17
Days in arena: 29
Jesse was never nervous about entering the games, even though he was from a lower district that didn’t win too often. He earned the reputation of a beast in the arena, due to the brutal way he killed the other tributes. His weapon of choice was always an ax, though he was not opposed to using his hands if nothing else was readily available. Jesse never had to struggle for supplies, being that he single handedly took control of the cornucopia, snapping the neck of anyone who dared to challenge him. His violent but effective strategy made this one of the shortest games in history.

District 9, winner of the 60 hunger games, Danny
Age of reaping: 16
Days in arena: 69
Danny had began trying to accept his death the moment he heard his name called for the reapings.  Winners from district nine were scarce, and even though he was well bodied and intelligent, Danny couldn't imagine hurting a person, much less brutally killing them in a fight to the death.  By the time he was actually thrown into the arena, he was completely resigned to his fate.  He spent most of his days trying to hide and keep away from the other tributes.  He is one of the only tributes to win without physically harming another opponent.  On his 66th day in the games, he had a tracker jacker nest dropped on him.  He manged to make it to a body of water and save his life, but only after being stung several times in his eyes and face.  While his face healed, his eyes never did and Danny was left blinded for the reminder of the games.  He won after the other two remiaing tributes killed eachother.

District 11, winner of the 59 hunger games, Jordan
Age of reaping: 15
Days in arena: 48
Jordan believed he was a dead man from the second he was chosen at the reaping. Only fifteen years old and from one of the poorest, weakest districts. He was strong from his days of hard labor, but he knew he had no chance against some of the higher districts that had been professionally changed for this. He tried to make alliances before going into the arena, but the two friends he had made were slaughtered within minutes, leaving him to run off and hide on his own. Luckily, his knowledge of nature and his hunting skills kept him alive without any supplies from the cornucopia. It still looked as if he would be killed eventually since he seemed so against killing anyone else himself. That is, until something snapped inside of him. He gradually began to descend into a mental state that allowed him to kill others with no remorse. Eventually, it was only him and the district 1 tribute left. They fought to the death, resulting in Jordan strangling the other boy with his bare hands.
