Humble Kinda Southern Dating

"Sage now...well..."
He had fallen for Zac the first night he laid eyes on the boy...
"I don't know, your young....and...I think your just in love with the idea of being in love."

"No... I know what thats like, this is different..." He shook his head.

"How?" Quincy frowned at him, glancing at Vance in Sage's arms.

"I used to think I was in love with Sean. I wasn't though. Like you said, I was in love with being in love." He glanced down at Vance as well.

Quincy shook his head.
"Baby whats different? Your not making any sense, what makes him so special?"
Vance was sleeping, his chocolate brown eyes closed, his light pink lips parted lightly as he breathed, his skin a pretty light tan and his hair falling over his shoulders.
Peaceful...

"I wasn't in love with Sean like I thought, this is... it feels so fucking different dad. I don't... want to be away from him at all. I just want to hold him and... I feel like I need to quit drugs for him cause I know he'll leave me if I don't. And if he leaves...hell, I don't know what I'll do and its only been a few days..." He sighed heavily.

Quincy nodded lightly.
"You kissed him yet babe?"

"No. Thats another thing. He wants to wait... he said at least til the fifth date and then he mentioned something about his first kiss being the one when you kiss the groom at your wedding.... I dont' WANT to wait that long but I would for him. I just... want to do anything and everythingfor him..."

Quincy paused, thinking about this.
"Baby....now...I dont know.."
He didnt want to believe Sage was already in love but it sure sounded like it...

"I think I am daddy." He sighed softly.

"Alright....Okay....You quit drugs...and you have him." The boy nodded, "I hope you are in love...its nice."

"Okay ddaddy... I'm gonna. I gotta." He nodded with a light smile.

Quincy nodded, kissing his neck and lightly stroking Vance's hair.
"He is big to be your lover though.." Vance was about ad big as Sage.

"Maybe so. Isn't mom a little small to be your lover? You guys look a bit weird together but I dont' think size matters." He nodded.

Quincy flicked his ear.
"Hey now, most couples have a big man and a small man, I was just curious."

"I know I was just saying it don't matter." He chuckled.

"Smartass." Quincy grunted at him, stretching out.

"Yupp." Sage winked at him, holding Vance close.

Quincy shook his head, getting himself up and waking back into the living room with the rest of his family.

Sean waited until Dayton had gotten up to go to the bathroom and then glanced at his father.
"Hey, did Sage seem okay?"

"He seemed fine, he was curled up on the bed with Vance when I went in there." Quincy nodded, the boy didnt seem bothered.

"Alright then, good." He nodded.

"You still close with him baby?" He knew they loved each other...

"Um not after what happened earlier." He nodded. "Dayton um... wont' let me talk to him.."

The man nodded lightly.
"Thats not very fair to him."
