After Tonight

Xavier let out a yawn as he stretched out on the couch, tossing his shirt onto the floor behind him. He was exhausted even though he hadn't done much but lounge around today. One of the shitty parts of his disease. He had no energy even now, when he just barely felt the sickness coming on. He rested his head on the arm of the couch, eyes settling on the door to watch for his lover, who hadn't yet arrived home.

Prentiss had parked half a mile down the street, and for thirty minutes he had sat in his car and panicked. He had been with Keegan, and it had started out so innocent but they had ended up tangled in the sheets. Now, in the after math of it, he wasn't sure how he was going to break this to Xavier. Ot made him sick thinking about, how he had betrayed his lover. Xavier had already neen through so much.
By the time Prentiss was walking in the door, nothing had gotten easier and laying his eyes on Xavier made him feel faint.

"Hey beautiful." Xavier gave a tired smile. He had been dosing off, though the sound of the door had woken him. "Have a nice night?"

"Uh, oui, oui." Prentiss' legs felt like noodles, wobbling as he made his way to Xavier.  He wasn't sure what to do.  He felt like it would be wrong for him to touch his lover after what he had done.  "Oh Xavieer..."  It was sinking in what he had done, how he was about to hurt this man he loved so much. "Je suis désolé."

Translate: "Yes, yes" " im so sorry."

"Are you feeling alright?" Xavier frowned lightly as he forced himself to sit up although it required quite a bit of effort. "You don't look good." He hummed, reaching out to caress the boy's cheek gently.
