Stupid Is As Stupid Does

"Y-you won't have to okay?" He nodded. "I will take care of everything baby..."

"N-No!" Aristotle screamed at the top of his lungs, his bottom lip trembling.

Asher flinched. He did that when anyone raised their voice, jumped back as if he was about to be hit.
"A-ary..."

"NO! YOU CANT HAVE IT!!!" Aristotle wailed at him.
No...
That child could not live.

Asher fell on his ass.
"P-please... even if you kill it.. it will be out there somewhere..."

"NO!!!" The boy screamed. "YOU CAN'T HAVE IT!!"

Asher blinked up at him before standing and frowning.
"I CAN! AND I WILL!" It was the first time he had ever yelled at Aristotle...

Aristotle wailed, covering his face.
"FINE!!! GOODBYE!" The boy sobbed as he scrambled up, running off up the stairs.

Asher exited the home, tears now rolling down his own cheeks.
Well that went well.
Suddenly an urge to vomit came over him. He tried to hold back and make it inside the home but ended up doing it in the front yard, dry heaving for a moment afterwards.

Aristotle was in his room, curled up on the bed and sobbing openly as he hugged his large ScoobyDoo plushy.

Asher sniffled as he stood up straight, wiped his mouth and walked off. He was not sure where to go. He pulled out his phone, calling Chord again.

The boy answered his phone quickly, listening a moment.
"Want me to come get you?"
He loved Asher because of how much Aristotle loved him.

"Please..." Asher sighed heavily, nodding even though Chord could not see him.

"Where are you?" He was already on his way, pulling out of the drive way and leaving Joslin with the kids.

"I'm... out in front of his house." He nodded, making his way back about a mile as he spoke, standing in front of Aristotle's house.

Chord was there in minutes, pulling up and getting out. He walked around, sighing at Asher.
"Oh Asher..." The boy slipped off his jacket, laying it over Asher's shoulders and moving to kiss his temple.

Asher hugged Chord tightly.
"Thank you for coming..." He sighed.

"Your welcome." He nodded, stroking Asher's hair.
"He didnt take it well..."

"No... he kept saying no. And then he screamed and said I couldn't have it... I screamed back and said I was going to and he said goodbye and ran upstairs..." He sighed, leaning into Chord.

"So...He broke up with you..."
Aristotle told him goodbye...

Asher blinked.
"I-I... was that a breakup?" He looked up at chord with wide, fearful eyes.

"Uh...Well I would think so but you new know with Aristotle, I might have meant its over, or I dont wanna see you right now. Im not sure, he has never broken up with anything before."

"I... It can't be a breakup." He shook his head furiously. He would have a fucking panic attack...

"C'mon, lets go talk to him." Chord scooped the boy up in his arms, cradling him close as he walked up to his friends home.

Asher nodded, whimpering softly and hiding his face in Chord's chest as he was carried up to Aristotle's room.
