Mother's Day<3

"Goddamnit." Barry growled, getting the boy out of the tub and lying him down on the floor.

Blaine was suffocating....
No air...
Nothing.
He felt like this a lot.
Like he was drowning.
And there was no one there to save him.

Barry sighed and gave the boy mouth to mouth, seeing if it would do anything.

Blaine did spit up the water, and he did open his eyes but he just started at Barry, saying nothing to the man.

Barry frowned, dried him off and dressed him, saying nothing more as he finished feeding Brice.

Blaine laid where he was left, curling up and letting his eyes close, no intention of going back to see his family anymore.
Not looking like this...
Bruises and cuts covered the boy, broken bones around his body, and places bleeding heavily. His mother would simply feel horrible and he would upset his father.
It was mothers day.
While Blaine's family spent it together, coddling his mother he was here, laid up in bed with a broken heart.
And his own child, nothing more than a five month old premature baby had just listened as people were raped in its living room.
One of the people its mother.

Steven cursed as he burnt his mother's cake.
"FUCK!" And his jacket was on fire. He slipped it off and threw it on the ground, beating it with an oven mitt and sotmping on it until the fire went out. "Damn..." He glared at the cake which was now a nasty black color. He put icing on it anyways and spelled out the words "#1 Momma" He figured his mother would like it anyways. He then felt in his pocket, making sure his present was still there before going over to Quincy and Zac's where his momma was today.

Gabriel was laying one the couch, leaning on Riley while the boy went over the song they were writing for their mother while their mom was spending the day with their grandma. The boy was curled up, as always wearing Calvin's large jacket, shivering lightly as he listened to his siblings and threw in a word or two.

Steven had a lid on the cake by now. He slowly stepped over to his mother.
"Happy mother's day momma." He smiled down at him.

Gabriel slid an eye open, looking the boy over once before he sat up and stared some more, lightly taking the cake and looking it over.
"For...Me?" Gabriel did speak now but he was picky about when he did it and how much it was.

"Course, you're my momma aren't you?" He smiled softly. "Oh, don't eat that. I burnt it...." He chuckled lightly

Gabriel put on a large smile for his baby, opening his arms for him and looking down at his cake.
"I think one piece wont kill me....my baby made it for me."

Steven smiled at him, kissing his cheek and hugging him.
"And I have a present for you..."

"I dont need a present, im happy here with just my baby..." Gabriel hugged him tightly, kissing the boys temple.

"Well I got it for you anyways so.." He hummed lightly, pulling the black box out of his pocket and handing it to Gabriel.
It was just a little bit bigger than an engagement ring box. Inside was a silver chain necklace with small diamonds around it.
It had cost all the money he had.

Gabriel opened it, his eyes scanning the necklace over like Gabriel scanned everything; critically and always having room for a problem.
But never with his baby and husband.
"O-Oh Steven..." The boy gently touched the chain with a finger,chewing his lip.

"Do you like it?" He raised an eyebrow. He sure hoped so...
He always spent his money on his parents or other family. He felt as if he was the only single one in the family, not like he had a lover to spend it on.

"I love it...But you wanna know the best gift anyone had ever given me?" The boy asked softly, smiling sweetly at him.

"Whats that?" Steven hummed lightly, smiling at his mother.

Gabriel wrapped the boy up in his arms, smiling softly.
"The best gift anyone ever gave me, as when I was fourteen. I had just met this man, and he brought home this little three year old kid.....And a while later he married me and let me sign some papers. The best gift anyone ever gave me was when your father gave me you."

Steven grinned.
"Really? The best gift someone gave you was a three year old brat?" He chuckled.

"That three year old Brat, gave me the will to get up in the morning." Gabriel stroke his cheek. "That three year old brat, gave me a reason to want to live as long as I can." The boy was so sweet....
Sad to think he was dying.
"That three year old brat, still makes my whole world go around....He also makes me feel old." The boy cracked a smile.

Steven smiled.
"You are gettin old. You're ancient." He winked.

"Yes, I am getting old." Gabriel chuckled softly.
Every mothers day spent with his was a blessing.
Unlike everyone else...
Gabriel WOULD NOT be here for long, he was dying.

"I love you momma... Happy mother's day." He nodded, hugging him tight. He was always so scared of his mother dying...
