Pregnancy is a Bitch.

Shannon was still only a baby, but around nine months. He laughed at Chord, he always seemed to smile when the boy was around. He drooled a bit and patted the boy's cheek.
"I'm pregnant." Joslin beamed.
Asher squealed and hugged his friend, hopping up and down with him for a moment.

Chord smiled at them, Aristotle was not even listened, he was way to immersed in his T.V. show. Bruno sat with his father, reaching over and gently laying his hand on Shannon's cheek.
"Hi Baby!"

Shannon blinked at Bruno, glancing at the boy's small hand before gumming one of his fingers and cooing.

Bruno gave a large smile, giggling as the child gummed his finger.
"Buahh!!! Dawdy! SHAY!!"

Shannon giggled and happily clapped his tiny hands, continuing to likc the small boy's finger.

Chord lightly took Bruno's hand back.
"Ew, lord only knows where that hand has been Bruno!"
Bruno snorted.
"Its bween in Sways mouff."

Shay whined, reaching back for Bruno's hand. Then he glimpsed his father, deciding he wanted that instead. He whined louder, reaching for Aristotle's hand.

Aristotle was paying the baby no mind once so ever, he was too consumed by his t.v. and the cartoon dog on the screen.
Chord chuckled softly at the site.
"How adorable!"

Shay squealed, trying to get his father's attention. At the noise Asher jumped, his head snapping over to the child as he checked if he was okay. He saw what was wrong, not wanting the child to get upset so he took Aristotle's hand, holding it out so the baby could reach and touch it.

Aristotle still had yet to tear his eyes away from the colorful cartoon he was watching, not even registering that Asher was touching him at the moment.

Asher rolled his eyes as he stroked his baby's hair. Joslin snickered.
"Someone's a bitch today."
"I'm tired." Asher nodded. "I didn't sleep." He was never short tempered with Aristotle except for days like this. And even now, he didn't say anything to the boy's face it was just little eye rolls like this.
Joslin almost asked why before remembering how it was with Avery when he was a baby. He had Dayton to help though. He guessed Asher was the only one who stayed up when Shay started crying. It'd be almost impossible to sleep like that.
"Ah. If you need to take a little nap I can stick around for a while if thats alright with Chord."
"Nah, I'll be fine." He yawned, waving a hand submissively.

Aristotle sometimes noticed when he was paying attention. No he never said anything to Asher about it but he hated it. He hated himself for being so stupid. He didn't trust himself to handle Shannon, he just was always so afraid of hurting the child...
Chord sighed softly at Asher, moving to wrap an arm around Aristotle's shoulders, silently protecting him from the hurt if he were to glance over and see Asher roll his eyes.

Joslin and Asher had a quiet conversation before Joslin concluded that it was not okay that Asher had had maybe only five hours of sleep in the past few days put together. He made Asher go lay down adn take a nap.

Chord sat with his friend, watching his babies, plus Shannon and listening to Aristotle giggle at the television where scooby was now running from some monster that moments ago had scared Aristotle himself.

"I'm gonna go feed Shannon." He nodded at Chord, scooping the child up and taking him off to the kitchen. He'd forgotten how much of a pain in the ass babies were to care for.

Chord nodded lightly, his eyes following his lovers ass as it swayed into the kitchen. Chord was a good father, he would take half of the load when it came to caring for the baby if not more.

Joslin knew this, he felt a bit bad for Asher though. He knew Aristotle couldn't help much although he probably tried to.

Aristotle did try....He tried as hard as he could but he just...he was not fit to care for a child and that was simply how it was.

Joslin came back in after a while, Shannon sleeping happily in his arms.
"How the hell did you get him to do that?" Asher blinked when he came into the room.
"Damnit, I told you to sleep."
"Can't." He plopped on the couch.

Chord just watched them, leaning on Aristotle who was now snoring soundly on the couch, Bruno sitting on his chest and poking his freckled cheeks.
"I gotta call Kelton too..." He mused allowed, humming softly as he thought about his second bestfriend.

Asher watched the boy, slightly irritated for a moment. How he'd love to fucking be able to sleep. But then he cracked a smile.
"God, he's adorable." He just couldn't be pissed at Aristotle, it was imposible.

Chord had been glaring at him all the while he looked irritatedly at his friend.
"We offered you sleep Asher." He spoke softly, moving to flick Aristotle in the ear. The boy just whined softly and rolled over, Bruno squeaking as he was flipped by the teenage boy.

"I know. I tried to lay down, I can't." He didn't know how, he was so fucking tired... but when he tried to sleep he kept worrying about something happening to Shannon. He couldn't trust anyone with his baby. He was a protective momma..

Chord just shrugged at him, glancing over at his lover and Shannon.
"Asher we can care for that baby, I promise, go catch a nap."

Asher sighed heavily, glancing at the sleeping baby.
"Fine. But if he wakes up, you two better come get me." He nodded and headed up to the bedroom once more.
