Of Surprises and Lost Chances.

Alex slowly made his way over to the bed, plopping down beside his lover, pressing a kiss to Mike's neck. He was a bit cautious, since the littlest movements seemed to be making him nauseous lately. He'd yet to actually throw up but he'd felt like shit for a week now. He hadn't mentioned anything to Mike though, not wanting to worry him.
"Hey baby." He murmured, nuzzling the man's neck. The feel of his Mikey's warm skin against his own always calmed him.

Mike murmured incoherently, his face pressed flush into the pillows as he attempted to gain a few more hours of shut eye.
"Hey, Alex." Mike paused, his blue eyes blurry as he blinked them open, sleep still evident in his voice and ghosting on his face.
"Why are you up?"
Mike had noticed a bit of odd things going on with Alex lately but he didnt mention it. If Alex was not wanting to tell him about it, then he would let it go until further notice. Mike, with time after taking his penis enlargement pills, had become much more relaxed. His confidence had returned full blast, and he no longer felt the need to be an over bearing mother any longer with his kids all almost fully grown.

Alex shrugged his shoulders lightly, just pulling Mike closer to him.
"Just not tired, I guess." He murmured softly, his drooping eyelids making it clear that his last statement was false. "You can go back to bed though..." He nodded, feeling bile rising in the back of his throat, but he held back, keeping himself from vomiting.

"Bed....yeah..." Mike was already drifting off, one leg thrown over both of Alex's as he pressed closer to his lover, a sense of security and calmness washing over him and he heart Alex's heart being through his chest. The sound slowly lolling him to sleep.

After a while of attempting to sleep, the nausea got much worse. He stood up, careful not to move Mike, and walked calmly to the bathroom, not wanting to make it worse. But the second he got to the toilet, the contents of his stomach emptied into the round basin, followed by a small groan from Alex. He cleaned himself up before returning to bed, just hoping Mike hadn't heard him. But he new if this kept progressing, he'd have to let his lover know, even if it was just a stomach bug.

Mike stretched out in his sleep, blearily peeking one eye open to gaze at his lover.
"Alex?"
He was ready for sleep, and he was getting more and more grouchy as he was deprived.
"C'mon."

"Look, you just rest. Ignore me." Alex sighed, glancing at Mike. "Sorry for waking you." He pecked Mike's temple softly.

"Can't ignore you.". Mike turned over once more, sighing into the sheets at the bed.
"Im up."

"Noo, go back to sleep." Alex sighed heavily, reaching out a hand to stroke Mike's hair. "I'm fine, sweetheart."

Mike rolled over to his lover, giving a wary smile, his lips pressing flush against Alex's forehead.
"How about instead I get up and start breakfast?" He winked, "And maybe we can then get tangle up in the sheets when every ones full and gone."

Alex smiled softly.
"Alright baby, go ahead." He nodded, kissing the man's lips gently.

"Wanna come with?" Mike offered gently, his hand running over Alex's cheek fondly. His eye were weighted down with concern for his lover.
Alex just didnt sound like he was feeling very well.
He always perked up at the mention of sex...

"Course darlin'." He nodded, standing and scooping Mike up, carrying him down to the kitchen despite his stomach protesting at any movement.

Mike latched onto his lover, his chink resting on Alex's shoulder as he listened to his husband.
A small frown tugged on his lips but he said nothing.
Maybe Alex just was PMSing or something.

"Love you." He purred softly, stroking Mike's hair before setting him down. "Are you okay? You seem upset?"

"Oh im fine." Mike put on a large grin, scanning his lover over.
Well he felt a little better...Alex still seemed a little off though but he decided he would look over it.
"I love you too!"

"Good." Alex winked. "Ima go bother Kevin while you cook, baby." He pecked his cheek once more before walking off to Kevin and Rick's room.

Kevin was sitting on the side of the bed, his feet dangling over as he tiredly tried to work up the energy to move. He was wearing nothing at all. The only reason he even bothered moving was to slip on some boxers just in case his parents barged in.

"Kev?" Alex called, knocking on the door lightly. He usually went to Kevin to talk about things like this, things he didn't want to tell Mike yet.

"Uh?" Kevin's head snapped up at the sound, a string of curses following as he scrambled from the bed and around the room to find himself some decent boxers. One he had settled on a pair of Rick's he opened the door, only slightly to peek out at his father.
"Why hello daddy." Kevin smiled softly, opening the door wider. "Need something?"

"Not particularly, just wanted to see you, baby." Alex smiled softly at his eldest son.

Kevin raised a brow at his father, tugging him into the room and then looking around to see who was within hearing range.
When he decided it was safe, he turned to his father and grinned.
"Spill it!"

Alex chuckled, shaking his head.
"Now, I can't just want to see my baby boy?" He smirked softly, ruffling Kevin's hair.

"Pshhh, like anyone wakes up just to see me. You want something old man, or else you would still be up momma's tail end." Kevin smirked softly at him, pecking his cheek. "Now spill it!"

"Aww, it's not even a big deal, I just like talking to you." He smiled at Kevin. "I just haven't been feeling too good lately, and I don't know if I should let your momma know or not."
