"You're not doing anything wrong Quincy, you're a great daddy..." He cooed softly.

"Just go lay down Precious." Quincy shook his head.
He found himself in his and Zacs room, trying to sleep.

"Not tired anymore." He shook his head. "I'm sorry.."

"Then go watch television. I dont want to talk." He covered himself up.

Zac got in the bed, hugging Quincy gently, saying nothing.

Quincy was also silent.
He would protect his kids...
But no longer would he harp over them and bother them...It didnt help their fear of telling him shit.

But Zac had been right. They all loved their father as he was, they were just afraid to tell him things because they were afraid he would be disappointed in them...

But Quincy was different...he would be proud of his Sage...He would have held Sean and Vikki...

But they didn't know this... they were just nervous... they loved their father so mcuh...

Quincy hated it....
He loved his babies so much and they couldnt talk to him.

They were upset with themselves so they did not want their father thinking lowly of them...

And because of that...
Quincy was done being so high and mighty since it makes them think that.

It was not that they thought of him as high and mighty though... They just loved him and didn't want him to think different about them...

Quincy didnt know...
He thought he had just...been bad.

"You're a good daddy." Zac nodded at him.

"Shhh." Quincy shook his head, frowning deeply

"You are though." Zac frowned as their was a knock on the bedroom door.
"You guys aren't like.. fucking are you?" Sage.
"No." Zac called out to him and a second later the door was opened, Sage's head popping in. "Dad, can I talk to you?"

Quincy glanced up.
"Im sure your mother wont mind talking."
He didnt want to make it worse...

"Um I think he'll be pissed at me." Sage rubbed the back of his neck nervously as Zac raised an eyebrow. "Look in the drawer." Sage nodded at the drawer in Zac's dresser. Zac stood, frowning lightly as he opened the drawer to find the baggy of cocaine Sage had given him was gone.

Quincy glanced at them.
"Talking about that cocaine you were both hiding from me?"

"Sage." Zac folded his arms. "Where is it?"
"Um, the empty bag is in the trash can."
Zac sighed softly as Sage hung his head, shuffling his feet for a moment before turning it to his father.
"I wasn't hiding it from you, I was trying to get mom to hide it from me."

Quincy stood, moving over to his son and lifting Sage into his arms, pressing him to his chest.
"I love you Sage."

Sage blinked but hugged his father.
"I love you too dad..."

"Talk to me...." He nodded, stroking his adoptive son's head.

"I used last night... I've tried a few times earlier this week but Sean caught me and took it away. He was at Dayton's last night so I did it..." He nodded. "And I... feel bad." Like he was letting people down. It had been three months.
