Of New Loves & Realizations.

"Well what would ya like ta know, love?" Phoenix arched an eyebrow. "Everyone knows mah mother." He smiled lightly at the other man.

"I don't." Of course he had hear of Killian but he and the other man had never spoken. "Of course he has a reputation but I never had anything to do with him."

"Noh?" Phoenix hummed. "Well ya've heard about hem, but heh's not quite like that anymore. Heh's ah better mother than ah think anyone thought he'd be. Heh looks out for me, but still lets me make mah own mistakes."

That sounded like a good parenting style, though it reminded Lane of the fact that the boy still needed his parents. He was still only a boy.
This could not go well.
Giving an exasperated sigh, Lane pulled up to Sarah's house. Unlike many other couples who split and didnt speak anymore, Lane and Sarah were rather close. They wanted their daughter to have a good life, and there fore they decided that they did not need to be fighting.
"We're here. You can come in if you want." He was already getting out, excited to see his daughter.

Phoenix nodded, hopping out of the car as well, eyeing the home in front of them. He couldn't help but smile though at how eager Lane seemed to spend time with his daughter. It was adorable.

Lane waited on him, not wanting to rush into the home without him. He did not want the boy to be left behind in a place that he was unfamiliar with. "Now don't worry about Sarah, she's nice. And Cameron is great."
He found himself hoping that Phoenix would like them as he knocked on the door.

"Ah'm not too worried." Phoenix nodded his head as he waited for someone to come to the door. He quite enjoyed meeting people. And they couldn't be too bad..

"Critter!" Sarah greeted as she opened the door. Her hair reached her middle back, golden strands falling in a waterfall as he reached to hug him, her red lips pressed against the mans neck. "Good to see you!" Pulling back she glanced to Phoenix, offering a small smile. "Hello there."

Phoenix watched the woman, noticing that she was undeniably beautiful. And although he definitely preferred men, his mother taught him to appreciate ladies as well.
"Hello, love." He smiled at her, extending a hand for her to shake. "Ah'm Phoenix Liveleh. And you must beh Sarah."

The women bowed lightly, his eyes flickering to Blaine as she giggled. She took Phoenix's hand, shaking it gently. "Moving on already?" She knew of Lane and Devin's break up, and also knew it was unlike Lane to move so fast.
"Not really..."

"Yeah, heh's got ah thing for meh already." Phoenix winked, flashing a sly grin at Lane.

"I gotta train this one better before I take him home." Lane nudged the boy gently with his elbow, indicating that he was only joking about trying to train him. He was simply in a great mood, excited to see his daughter.

"Ah can't be trained, love." He wiggled his brows, though looking around. "So where's thes daughter ah've heard soh much about?"

"Shes in her room." Sarah glanced back inside, disappearing to go alert the girl of her father being there. Moments later, the unmistakable thumps of footfall sounded, as the girl burst from the home and straight into Lane's arms.
"Daddy!!" Cameron was a gorgeous child, a bit on the scrawny side, she was knobby kneed with lanky limbs. Blue eyes and bouncing golden curls. She was in every way Lane's daughter.

Phoenix's face spread into a wide grin as he looked at the little girl. He found her utterly adorable and she did quite resemble her father.
He simply watched though, keeping his mouth shut for once and letting the man have his moment with his daughter.

The moment didn't last too long, for Cameron had already spied Phoenix and the boy had enticed her curiosity.
"Awh! He ish tute!" The girl reached a hand out to Phoenix, her smile revealing she was missing one of her front teeth. She had just lost it a day or so ago, and couldnt wait to tell her father about the five bucks the tooth fairly had left her.

Phoenix smiled softly as he took the girl's hand.
"Yar pretteh cute too, darlin." He chuckled lightly at her, finding that she was even more adorable with the gap in her teeth.

"Ish you a fwend of my daddy's?" The child glanced over to her father in delight, over joyed to have time to spend with the man.

"Ah am." Phoenix nodded, his eyes soft on the young girl. "Ah'm Phoenix." He grinned.

Lane stepped towards them, wrapping an arm around Phoenix's shoulders. "He is coming to the park with us."
The small girls eyes burned with excitement, her smile widening. "He can play with me!"

"Ah sure can, darlin." Phoenix chuckled, nodding at the girl, noticing Lane's arm around him, but saying nothing.
