50 Nothings

1: Float: Mack had been a pot head his entire life. He was a druggie for the thrill, but lately he had not needed the drugs, Phoenix kept him high enough.

2. Protection: Manuel always had a tendency to be protective of the things he loved. James, Luca, and Augustus all rarely got time away from him. But nothing compared to the way he worried over Elvis if the boy was gone for a second longer than planned.

3:  Insomnia:  On the weeks when Cove didn't visit often, Rhett would be found in the boys old room.  When the boy was away, it was the only place he could even manage sleep.

4. Favorite: Kelly loved his father, but he had come to terms long ago with the fact that Cove would always be Rhett's favorite. Because of this, he was much more likely to be found spending the night at his uncle's house.

5. Safe Haven: Elvis loved his father dearly, but if he were to be in trouble or hurt, the first place he always wound up was his brothers home. Luca was the older one, his bubba, he trusted his brother to protect him, and so Luca was his safe place.

6. Fire: Cameron, like his mother, was quite strong for his size. But unlike Finn, he knew how to control his emotions. However, one thing he never had control of was the fire in his stomach when he would catch sight of Shannon with Killian.

7. Cover: Kelton had so many tattoo's now, that at some parts of his body you could not even see clean skin. He would just have to slow down visiting with Xavier before there was none of his normally colored skin left.

8. Desire: Sometimes after sex, when Finn would simply roll over and go to sleep, Morgue found himself desiring nothing more than the times when he and Ian would cuddle for hours after making love.

9. Smoke: Sitting outside on a porch swing, cigarette dangling between his lips, Ian wondered where Morgue was and if he would still complain about the smoke.

10. Hide: Luca always wanted the best for his younger brother. But even though drugs weren't necessarily good for Elvis, Luca always made sure to help his brother hide the evidence of his drug use from their father.

11. Memory: Killian still remembered the first time Shannon smiled at him. He could never forget how the light hit the boys eyes, how straight his teeth were. Killian had been star struck from the very start.

12. Regret: Cove could never stop himself from wondering whether Leon was truly the right choice for him. Or if maybe Misery or Briley was a better fit...

13. Falter: Finn hated for Morgue to cry, he would snap and growl and simply be hateful, but only because he crumbled completely when the man cried. Finn had dealt with his life, learned to fight and be fearless, but to see Jeremy in tears was something he could not bare.

14. Fight: Everyone seemed shocked to see how truly in love Morgue was with Finn. They never understood how he could deal with what seemed like physical and mental abuse. But somehow, Morgue did. He loved Finn with every fiber of his being.

15. Phone: Regardless of what he said, Cove was normally the last person he thought of at night, and the first his mind reached for in the morning. Haunted by the what if question that lingered around him, he always felt guilt and gave Brynn extra attention.

16. Touch: Prince always had to be touching Mathias in some way when they were together. Even if it was just their fingertips brushing against each other.

17. Married: Dustin would argue with the best of them, but his favorite person to argue with was his husband. He and Chris bickered everyday and he wouldn't change it for anything.

18: Tattoo: Xavier always remembered that it had been Elvis who'd talked him into starting to do tattoos, and for that he was always grateful to his former love.

19. Relapse:  Ian began drinking hard liquor and doing fatal drugs because everything taste sweeter with no conscious thoughts or feelings attached.

20. Hand: Even still, Xavier would always call Elvis over when his sickness got too bad. He could never bare the thought of dying alone without Elvis holding his hand.

21. Bubble: Blaine was born to bring smiles to his loved ones. He made his father better, he wiggled his way into Barry's heart. He contributed it all to his happy go lucky nature. This is why he never stopped smiling. He wanted the people he loved to smile too.

22. Home: Manuel never truly felt at home where he lived now, he knew he would only ever feel at home in Peru. But lately, he has discovered that his home is wherever Augustus takes him.

23. Locked: Brice had never been able to say no to Shannon, a quick smile and a flutter of the biys eyes, he was stricken. Reguardless of Shannon being of the make gender. The boy had him wrapped around his finger.

24. Book: Kyndal was madly in love with Rhett Braxton, that was well known. But sometimes, he truly did want to choke the man. Especially the time when Rhett had refused to make love to him until he'd made him read an entire book.

25. Ache: Elvis spent many weeks without sleep after the fall out between Xavier and himself. The darkness of his room choked him, the coolness of the sheets mocking him. Xavier had never been cold, he was warm, always warm, and now he was gone.
Elvis was left with an ache in his heart, and insomnia on his mind.
