"It's a journal from when I was a kid." He shrugged lightly as if it was no big deal.

Angel hummed softly, climbing around Gabriel's body, slipping the journal from his pocket.
"Hmmm, I cant write too good...or read....can you read it to me?"

"I can't read too well either actually." He confessed to his husband. "I speled a bunch of shit wrong in there too..."

Angel held the book, opening and staring long and hard.
"I cant read...good..."
He could read a bare aluminum of words.
"Hmmm...CADE!!!" Angel called. "Come read something for me please!!"

"No...angel baby, can you... not read it pleasE?" He sighed softly.

Angel frowned, cocking his head to the side and staring at the book.
"But...."
He wanted to read it..

"I... don't like it." He sighed.

Angel frowned at him, cocking his head to the side.
"But....I would tell you about my childhood if you wanted to know..."

"I just... it makes me sound weak. I don't like it... I don't want you to think of me like that." He wet his lips.

"I wont think your weak...I love it when you are not so you sometimes though...I like being able to feel like I help...if your upset and I get to hug you...I love that...not because your upset...just because you let me see and you let me hug you and I feel like I make it better for you....No one can be strong all the time....I will always think of you as my big strong man..."

"Exactly... I'm afraid you won't anymore after reading this..." He looked away.

"Hey...that was a long time ago...and this is now......Ill just know how hard you had it...and I might not like it but it brought you to me.." He smiled sweetly.

Gabriel smiled softly, kissing Angels' forehead.
"Just...don't let Cade read it. I'll try and read it to you. I'm slow though." He nodded.

Angel nodded, curling himself against Gabriel's chest and handing him the book.
"Kay..."

Gabriel carried hmi into their bedroom, locking the door and lying on the bed, beginning to read slowly to his lover.

Angel listened quietly, leaning on his lover, watching Gabriel read.
He didnt like what he heard....
But he smiled, and he pressed kisses to Gabriel's neck.
It was okay..

Gabriel was even slower at certain parts when he was upset.. It took him several hours before he read the last page and shut the book.

Angel was silent for some time, leaning back into his lover.
"Hmm....Now I understand a bit better..."

"Mhmmm." Gabriel hummed, nodding at him and kissing his cheek.

"So...thats the reason we never....took the babies around your momma?" He asked softly, looking up at his lover.

"Yeah babe." He nodded slowly. He would kill his mother if she ever touched either of them. But he'd rather not hit her so he just kept them away. He'd taken Cade to visit her a few times when he was young. She'd got a bit too friendly and she'd never seen him again.

"Baby....I think I would have killed her if she ever touched Cade or Blaine like that....I couldnt hurt you...even if you hit Cade...and I tried to do something with Barry but he killed me...but I think...I could take her." He nodded lightly.
"I dont like that she did that to you...you are a good man...and your dick is mine."

Gabriel chuckled softly.
"All yours baby." She was the reason Gabriel was strictly just gay. No chicks.

Angel hugged him tightly.
"You know....I hope your happy....your the best thing that has ever been mine..."

"I am happy. I'm realy happy..." HAppier than he'd ever thought he would be.
