Kiss It better

Barry let the boy down, wiping his eyes before turning around, his eyes narrowed at the man. The gun was aimed again but Barry slapped it right out of his hands, tackling the man to the ground.

The man with the gun squeaked, shoving at the larger mans chest, trying to get away.
Brice was running, he had heard the gun shot....
He stumbled to his grandparents house, banging his tiny fist against the door

Barry just continued his attack on the other man. This was for Blaine..
Gabriel opened the door and smiled when he noticed Brice. then he saw the paniced look on the boy's face and frowned. He scooped the boy up.
"whats up squirt?"

The man was slowly losing consciousness. He was trying to hold on but Barry was beating the will out of him.
"G-Grandpa!! Momma! and Dada!!" The child schreeched

It wasn't long at all before Barry had killed him..
"Sweetie calm down, what about momma and dada?" Gabriel frowned, stroking the child's hair.

Brice sobbed hard.
"O-Out dare!!! D-Dis guy a-and just a g-gun shot and I WANT MY MOMMA!!"

Gabriel blinked as he prayed that the child wasn't right about the gun shot...
"Here, I'll go get your momma, you stay with grammy Angel okay?"

Brice nodded, toddling into the home to find Angel who was just sitting on the couch, watching Kelton hold Leon

Gabriel walked out and searched everywhere until he found Blaine's dead body. And just feet away, police dragging Barry away..

Yes Barry was being taken away for the murder of that man and Blaines poor body was being touching by unknown hands.

Gabriel was at his son's side quickly, pushing off cops as he looked the small boy over. His baby...

The tiny body was male, Blaines lips blue and stained with blood.
But he was smiling...
He had saved his Mister Meanie Pants.

But his Mister Meanie Pants was being sent to jail... for god knows how long...

Yes, and that left Brice alone....
And it left Barry to be haunted by Blaines memory

During the next few years, Barry stayed in jail while Gabriel and Angel took good care of their grandson for him..

Brice visited his father weekly, always with a question.
When was his mommy coming home...
And he was there again today, in all his six year old glory

Barry always answered the exact same way... and today was no different.
"Soon baby. I know he's coming soon, don't you worry." He smiled tiredly at the boy.

Brice whined softly at him.
"You ALWAYS say that daddy and momma still isnt ever home. I miss you though." He nodded, he was an adorable little boy, he looked so much like Blaine with hints of Barry thrown in

"I know I always say it baby but I really feel it this time. He's coming." Barry chuckled at the child.

"You say that a lot too." He nodded, he and his father were separated by bullet proof glass, he had one of those phones pressed to his ear so he could hear the man.
"How come you wont come home either?"

"Told ya that too babe, I gotta wait for your momma. I can't go home without him now can I?" He smiled lightly.

"What if momma never comes back...He is a bad momma...He left us and now you cant come home." Brice huffed softly, crossing his arms.

"Hey." Barry frowned deeply, giving his son a stern look. "Don't you say that. Your momma is a great momma. He wants to be home. Really bad. But he can't baby, okay? He'll be home as soon as he can."

Brice shook his head.
"He isnt coming home...He dosent want us anymore......" The child sighed softly, shaking his head.
"Come home without him."

"I can't... just like he can't come home, I can't come home without him baby." He sighed.
