"Ah can..." Rhett nodded, scooping his child and and exiting the room, his lips pursed and unhappy.
"Want meh ta calll es parents?" He didnt care if Cade and Kelton knew or not, all that mattered to him was that if this happened to Cove, Rhett needed to know, ever.
He had to know to take care of his son.
Leon curled into Cove, naked and trembling, he still had the strength to peek over Cove's arm.
"C'mera?"

"Not yet...." Cove shook his head at his father. He was sure he'd never be seeing Leon again and to be honest.. he wasn't ready for that to happen... He cursed when Leon mentioned his camera. He gave Leon to Rhett and went back to Trever's room, ignoring the man as he grabbed Leon's camera and brought it back to him.

Leom gave Cove that same sweet smile, his cheeks a dark blue as the blood continued leaving him.
"Hey....C've...." It felt like home in the other boys arms. Safe and secure. Home...
"Th'nk you..."
For the camera.
For letting him sleep with him that night.
For just talking to him.
For defending him to Trever...
Rhett watched the boys,pausing on his way out the door.
"Coveh...."
He didnt know if Leon would live, the chances seemed dark...
"Ya wantta stay hereah.?"

"Noh... ah don't want to let hem go...." Cove frowned lightly. But he wasn't dumb, he knew chances were good Leon would not make it...

"Its k C've...." Leon smiled weakly, raising a bruised and bleeding hand to press against his cheek. "Ill be k..." And he believed he would, Trever had done worse...
Course Trever had then fixed him....

"Et's not, okay..." Cove shook his head, insisting on going to the hospital with the boy.

And Rhett didnt mind taking them, the wound up at the hospital around four in the morning, Leon being rushed into intensive care.
Rhett sat with his son in the waiting room, his hands folded, his head resting on them.
"Ya alrigh'?"

"Noh." Cove answered simply. He just... couldn't stand it. Leon was nothing but nice...

Rhett nodded his head, he understood, he had seen this happen to many people under his brothers hand, even his mother. His mother had been so sweet....
"Heh es gonna beh alrigh'" Rehtt assured his son, reaching over to kiss the boys cheek.

"Buh still... ya know how Angel es because of Trever... what ef he's never alright?" Cove sighed heavily.

Rhett shrugged lightly, watching his son closely.
"Whah would ya careh?"
But Rhett knew, it might actually mean something to his son...

"Ah like hem... Hes sweet..." Cove nodded slowly. "Ah was mean to him at first but heh just thinks ah'm pretty... ah couldn't keep bein rude ta him."

Rhett nodded his head, the waiting room was sullen. A few people crying over their loved ones, a few speaking in hushed tones. Then he and Cove.
Just sitting...
"Ya dont need ta get soh attached to em. Heh isn't righ' fer ya. Heh is differen'." He warned his son. "Ya cant beat em ta fix em."

"But ah want em..." Cove said, saying nothing more. He wanted Leon and he would have him.

Rhett shrugged his shoulders lightly, his head cocked to the side as he considered this.
"Ya knoweh, when es parenta find ouh theh wont want ya 'round hem?" The large Scottish man reasoned.

"Ah know...." Cove hung his head. Trever had to ruin everything.... "Do ah have to tell em?"

"....Whell....Ah...Noh ya dont." Rhett shook his head, if his son wanted this boy, he was not going to let it be ruined. "Heh 'snt toled em, an ah dunt think heh will. Wheh wont either..."

"Thank ya..." Cove nodded, resting his head on Rhett's shoulder. "Ah love ya..."

"Ah love youh too Coveh." Rhett moved to peck the boys temple, his arm pressing the boy close. "Ya want ta goh get yar mother? Wheh can goh homeh aftar Lehon es redeh ta goh."

"Alright, ah'll get momma..." Cove stood, walking down several hallways and peeking his head in a door to make sure it was the right room. He stepped inside when he saw his mother and Asher standing beside a bed where Shannon was sitting, looking quite pissed. Kyndal had gone to talk to his friend since Asher always drug Shannon in here for tests of some sort, making sure Shannon was doing alright. Both he and Aristotle panicked that the boy would be slow like his father.
Even though Shannon appeared fine, Asher continued to make sure.
"Momma." Cove cleared his throat and Kyndal looked over, smiling at his son.
"Alright, I'll talk to ya later Ashley." Kyndal pecked Asher's cheek before following his son back out to where Rhett was in the waiting room.

Rhett gave his lover a smile, opening his arms for the small boy.
"Hey Shart Stack..." He greeted in his soothing accented voice.

Kyndal smiled at his boyfriend, stepping into his arms and purring softly as he hugged him tight.
Cove smiled lightly at his parents as he waited for Leon to be okay.

A nurse came out a few hours later, glancing the room over.
"Johnson?" She called Leon's last name out, waiting for someone to come claim him.

Cove stepped up.
"Yes ma'am?" He acted more formal than he normally would, his nervousness showing though.

"He is stable but he isn't really fit to be let go. He is in bad shape. May I ask why?". The women frowned, simply worried the boy was abused at home.
