"Im disappointed in you." Quincy spoke softly. "Its not okay but we will get past it baby....Next time you come to me...You cant get that shit from me and I promise you...if I wanted...I could get every drug dealer around to stop..."
Everyone feared Quincy.

Sage nodded at him.
"OKay daddy..." he rarely called quincy daddy, it was usually just dad. "So, um... could you not tell Sean about this..?"

"I wont tell anyone...as long as you promise to talk to me baby...Im tired of being a bad father..."

"You're not a bad father... and thank you." He nodded at his father, leaning against him lightly.

Quincy stroked his hair.
"In a way I am..."

"How?" He raised an eyebrow at his father.

"You cant talk to me..." He shook his head, just like his father....

"Yeah I can. I sorta just did." He frowned lightly.

"Only because you are afraid your mother is pissed off at you right now." Quincy sighed. "My father was a good man. He was never home but me and my brothers loved him, he loved us. We never told him anything because he might be disappointed in us...it was hell..."

"Look... I don't come to you a lot cause... I didn't have a dad. My real dad raped my mom and knocked her up so she hated me. I don't want to annoy you or anything cause... Im glad you adopted me and I don't want you to give me up if I do something wrong..." He nodded slowly, awkwardly averting his gaze.

Quincy frowned, taking the boys face in his hands and forcing Savge to look in his eyes.
"Sage. Dont you ever be scared to tell me something. I might get angry, and I might be disappointed but I will always love you. Your my son...MINE. You have a father, I wont ever give you away...Your no less my baby than anyone else." He stroked the boys face, kissing his forehead.

Sage smiled softly at Quincy.
"Thanks then dadd..." He nodded at him.

Quincy nodded lightly, smiling softly at him.
"Now, your not getting anymore drugs."

"Good...." He nodded at him, hugging him lightly.

Quincy nodded, kissing his temple. "Ill take you our for breakfast though and we can screw around a little bit.

Sage grinned.
"That sounds fun..." He nodded at him.

Quincy nodded, walking back through the home and out the door with Sage in his big strong arms.

Zac smiled softly after them.
Sage laid back in his father's chest and for the first time in the ever just... relaxed. He worried about nothing.

Quincy would take care of everything, it was okay to just relax when you had that man there too hold you and make it all okay.

Yes, Quincy was one of the best fathers someone like Sage could ask for...
