Days of Disaster.

"You can be so sweet sometimes." Zach cooed, teasing the boy, leaning over and ruffling his hair lightly. "That was perfect!"

"Your f*cking gross." Being sweet was gross but he did anything for Morgue. Finn laid back onto the bed, groaning softly. "Im damn tired." As if showing emotion was exhausting for him.

"So nap with me, shitface." Zach smiled lightly as he laid down, slipping his arm around Finn's waist and hiding his face in the pillow.

Finn didnt even last long enough to give a response, sleep over taking him before he knew it. They had been sleeping for a while, Finn wasn 't sure how long. When he finally woke up, his body racking with coughs, he was instantly in edge. Smoke . It was thick and black in the room, suffocating.
Only one thing came into his mind.
Fire.
"Zach!" Finn cried as he pushed himself off the bed , swinging the bedroom door open only to have his face licked by flames.
Finn froze, panic striking him. The house was burning.
With them in it.
"Zach!" The boy cried again, falling backwards and kicking the door shut on the flames, feeding it to the fire.

Zach awoke the second Finn spoke his name. He tried to figure out where he was. It only took him a second to remember, moving his way through the smoke towards Finns voice.
"Finn?" He coughed as he inhaled the thick smoke, squinting to see his friend, his mind struggling to wake up and understand the situation. His eyes widened as he saw the flames. "Finn we have to get out of here!" He exclaimed.

Any response Finn may have given died in his throat, his body trembling as he stared at the raging flames. Never had he been so afraid in his life. The house was on fire! The very thought made the boy want to gag. Smoke still clouded the room, heavy and bleak, burning his eyes and poisoning his lungs. His eyes never left the fire, watching as it slowly consumed the door.

"Finn, duck down, crawl behind me!" Zach ordered, nearly shoving his friend to the floor. He didn't mean to be so rough but there was less smoke on the ground for them to breathe in and they needed to get down now. He began to crawl through the home, having no clue where he was going being that smoke blurred his vision. Finally, he caught sight of the front door only to realize that it was completely engulfed in flames. There was no getting through it. He cursed, which turned into coughing as he turned around to find Finn once more, grasping the other boy's hands as he tried to figure out what to do.

Finn was hysterical, he clung to Zach frantically, his eyes darting around but only finding fire anywhere he looked. "O-Oh F*ck." He looked back, just about to see that the kitchen was fully consumed in flame.
It was the only way to the back door.
"Z-Zach." Finn croaked, turning back to his friend. "W-Were f*cked." There was nothing they could do, it was getting harder and harder to breath and the heat was closing in on him. A sob finally erupted from Finn, his bottom lip quivering as tears poured down his face.
This was it. He just felt it.
He let out another cry of anguish as he remembered his last words to Jeremy. They had been fighting. Finn had said he hated him, called him a coward.
"C-Come the f*ck on!" Finn turned, keeping low and crawling back into Jeremy's room where the fire was only beginning to over take it. He crawled to the bed, reaching up for his phone. He dialed 911, simply crying that they were in a fire. Help had already been called for, he was informed.
"Well tell them to F*cking hurry! We cant get the f*ck out!" He snapped the phone shut, tears steadily dripping from his face.

"W-we're going to be okay." Zach nodded furiously, his arms finding Finn and holding him tight despite the fact that is was smoldering hot in here. "Finn, it's okay." He promised. Strangely enough, he didn't seem too panicked. Well sure, it was more than usual for him but not as panicked as someone should be while in the process of burning to death. But Zach had always been good in a crisis. He would hold himself together until the last possible minute, just for Finn. Even as the flames began to flare at the bottom of the bed.

As Finn noticed the fire closing in on them, he buried his head into Zach's shoulder, wailing pitifully. "I-I f*cking want Jeremy!" He regretted ever telling the man to leave. The heat was almost unbearable, and all Finn could think of was his mother. He remembered how excruciating it had been to have his chest pressed against the burner of their stove.
"J-Jeremy." He whispered brokenly, his fingers clutching Zach's shirt. He wanted his lover. He wanted to be safe.
Jeremy would take care of him, like he always did.
But Morgue wasn't there.

"Shh, Finn, it's alright." Zach clenched his teeth in pain as he felt the heat getting closer and closer. His lungs screamed for oxygen as his shirt finally caught on fire. He tore it off, trying to beat away the flames but they were everywhere and there was nothing they could do to stop them. "Thanks for being the only friend I have, Finn." He murmured softly, his voice hoarse from the smoke preventing him from getting much air. He said this because although he was trying to remain hopeful, he also knew that this was the end for them.

Finn just sobbed, his arms pressing Zach tightly against his chest. "No. F*cking thank you Zach. For this." He wasnt going to die alone, at least. "But im so damn sorry I brought you over." If not for him, Zach would be with Trever.
He would be safe.
But now he is going to burn to death, and its all Finn's fault.
He merely cries harder, holding Zach tighter as he felt the skin of his back beginning to burn.

"It's okay Finn. We're together and that makes it okay." He forced a small smile, pressing Finn closer as the flames enveloped the two of them. Then he allowed himself to feel the pain, he allowed himself to scream when the flames finally began to char his skin. He allowed himself to cry, holding his friend as they were burnt alive.

Out side the home, Kelton was frantic. They had thought everyone was out, but when he counted his family after rounding them all up, he felt his heart stop.
He was three people short. Jeremy and cameron had gone to the freakshow. This only left one other person.
"Oh god!" Kelton looked back to the home, dread filling him completely. "Cade! Gabriel! Finn's still inside!" The man bolted for the home, unable to imagine telling Jeremy he had let the boy burn. In his panic he had forgotten all about the boy and his friend, and now...
It was too late.

Cameron and Morgue had been on their way home when they heard the sirens. They had wondered if it was anyone they knew that was in danger but hadn't thought much of it until they arrived home to see that it was their house the trucks were pulling in front of.
Morgue's heart nearly stopped as he ran from the car.
"Mom, what's going on!" He exclaimed, quickly scanning the crowd out front of the home, noticing immediately that wasn't there.

"T-The house." Kelton fumbled over his words, tears filling his eyes as he looked upon his son. He felt sick. Honestly he didn't think he could do it.
Kendrick had rode home with them, and now he stood behind Morgue, Cameron clutched tightly to his chest.

"F-finn... he's in there, isn't he?" Morgue blinked, barely taking time to think about his decision before he was running towards the burning house. Family members and firefighters shouted at him to stop but he couldn't. He reached the door and hesitated, trying to find a way to get in. Fallen debris blocked any possible path.
Cameron was slower to realize that his mother was inside but when he did, he immediately attempted to tug himself free from Kendrick's grip. He needed to save his mother, no matter what.

Kendrick didnt know weather to shit or go blind as he watched Morgue approach the burning building. "Morgue!!" The man threw Cameron over his shoulder, holding him tight as he raced over to Morgue.
"Dont you dare!" He reached with his other arm, taking Morgue by his upper arm. "No way in hell." Morgue had saved him. He refused to stand by while Jeremy got himself killed.

"Kendrick!" Cameron growled, his limbs flailing in every direction as he tried to get himself down. "Kendrick you let me go or I swear to god, I'll kill you." He exclaimed. "MOMMA!" He shouted, leaning towards the burning home, still trying to squirm his way inside.
"Kendrick, don't." Morgue said simply, yanking his arm away as he forced himself to grab some of the flaming wood pieces that had fallen and were in his way. "Keep Cameron." He ordered before diving through the small hole he had created. The second he entered he knew it was unlikely for Finn to be alive in this but he couldn't give up hope.

"Morgue!" Kendrick felt as though someone had run a blade through his stomach as Morgue disappeared into the flames. Looking around, he rushed to Gabriel, shoving Caneron into the mans arms.
"Dont let go." It was all he managed to say before he was back to the home, following Morgue into the fire. He reached out, immediately feeling as though he could not breath. The flame was intense, and he could see the roof splintering as it went up on flames.
It was going to cave.
"Jeremy!" He fought to locate the man through the smoke and debris but once he finally reached Morgue, he grabbed the man so tightly he was sure to see bruises where his hand had been. There was no way Finn survived, the smoke itself was deadly. "Come on! Your not dying in here and neither am I!" Kendrick was not accepting any protests. He pulled Morgue into his chest, cursing as a piece of the ceiling fell through.

"Kendrick I'm not fucking kidding." Morgue growled, still refusing to stop his search for his lover. "Get the fuck out of here."

"Jeremy, he's gone." Kendrick's voice was softer, but still urgent. "We gotta take care of Cameron. Its what he would want." He was trying to coax Morgue out without too much of a fight, but he knew he didnt have much longer before the entire home was level with the ground. "Lets go." Kendrick yanked him back, fighting his way through the smoke to find his way back outside.

"Kendrick, I have to find him. I..." He took a fleeting glance back towards the flames before reluctantly letting Kendrick lead him back outside.

Kendrick was relieved to finally take a breath of air that wasn't clouded with smoke. He pulled morgue into his arms, holding him tight, thankful he was alive.
Even if Finn wasnt.
"Thank god your alright." He breathed softly.

Morgue said nothing, his eyes wide and pained as he watched the fire fighters begin to extinguish the wreck that had been his home. He attempted to listen to what was going on. All he managed to hear was that they had determined where Finn was. He was in a bedroom but debris was blocking the doorway and they were trying to get in to save him although they feared it was much to late. Morgue could have sworn he had heard one of the fighters say there was another person in there as well.
"Who else was in there?" he asked his mother once he heard it again, his face panicked.
