Teenage Dream...Or Disaster

"I said warm." Trever grunted, though it would be nice not to be so sticky. "I guess we could do that, but if your taking him outside bundle him up good and make sure nothing can get in his face.

"Well we don't have warm so lake will have to do." Barry chuckled. He grabbed some blankets, wrapping Killian up tight, even slipping a tiny hat onto the top of his head.

Trever gently tried to lean up, taking the baby from his lover and warily smiling to the man.
"I cant walk, sorry sweetheart." If he had any hope of making it to the lake Barry would have to help him.

"I'd been planning to carry you anyway." He nodded. "Hold Killian tight." Barry spoke before picking Trever up into his arms. "Rhett, sweetie are you coming down to the lake with us?"

"Mhmm!" Rhett nodded his head, running from the home in excitement ad Trever cradled the baby to his chest. "I guess Rhett will have to hold Killian while im in the water, I need your help."

Barry looked nervously at Rhett once they arrived at the lake.
"Okay..." He nodded slowly. He set Trever on the ground, taking Killian in his arms and kneeling so he was level with Rhett.
"Sweetheart, I need you to hold your new bubba, alright? Be very careful with him."

"Okay!" Rhett didnt seem to gentle as he plopped down in the dirt and scooped the small infant up. Trever eased himself into the water, whining at the cold as it surrounded him.

Barry threw off his shirt before hopping in, taking Trever in his arms once more, one eye on Rhett the whole time.

Rhett happily bounced the infant around, Killian gurgling at him as his tiny form was jarred.
Trever went about washing himself, also watching Rhett warily.
"Rhett! Dont bounce him, let him sleep!"
"Kay bubba!" Rhett stilled, the child doing just as Trever said and sleeping.

"You're doing good baby, you'll be a good bubba." Barry smiled fondly at Rhett as he helped his lover wash himself.

Once finished Trever had Barry take him home. He then got himself dressed and laid on the cot, having Rhett get in bed also along with his lover and their new born infant.

Barry dried off before crawling in bed with the others, insisting on laying in the middle of them all. Rhett on one side, Trever on the other and their new child curled up atop his chest.

The infant made for a good baby, he only cried when he was hungry, and he didnt make fuss when his parents tried to dress him. He drank his bottle happily, and always gurgled at his father while the man burped him. Killian was one week old today.
Trever was just getting up, lightly poking at his belly to see if he would be able to go back to work today. He wanted too, he wanted to very badly, he was still healing though so he laid back down, smiling over to his lover and the still child on his chest. He reached out to lightly brush the infants forehead, sighing softly at how adorable the boy was.

Barry had been up for a while, just goofily grinning at the child.
"My little Killian." He cooed, his nose nuzzling the child's tiny cheek as he glanced over at Trever.

The infant did not move, and his skin was rather cold.
Trever smiled at his lover though, nodding his head.
"He is yours all right. Looks just like you." The man pretended to pout.

"Good, he's fucking gorgoeus." Barry grinned, though covering the baby's ears as he swore. It was then that he noticed Killian was rather cold. "Aww, he's all cold..." He frowned, standing to look for a blanket, handing Killian to Trever.

Trever held the baby close, his smile falling as he realized just how cold the infant was.
"B-Barry?" Trever gently poked the child, knowing he couldnt shake him. The baby did not move.
At all.
His heart rate rising as he turned the baby over to gently spank its rear, hoping to get something, anything!

"What?" Barry hummed as he dug around for the warmest clothes they had for Killian, not taking notice of his lover's panicked tone.

"S-Something is wrong...." Trever whispered as he pulled the tiny shirt up, pressing his ear against the baby's still chest. "B-Barry..." His voice was thick as he heart no fluttering heart.
Killian was dead....

Barry's head snapped around to face the man.
"What's wrong? Trever is he okay?" Barry was immediately back at his side, looking at his child.

"B-Barry..." Trever leaned back as heartache exploded inside of him. He didnt want to be the one to do this. He didnt want to tell Barry this.
He didnt want it to be true.
"H-He's dead..."

"Wh-what are you talking about?" Barry asked, taking the infant into his arms. "He's just... he's just sleeping." He shook his head, gently nudging the child. "K-Killian wake up." He cooed gently, his voice trembling.

Trever watched his lover in despair, gently reaching out to rub his forearm. "Sweetheart...." He didnt want Barry to keep on, he didnt want the pain to hit him.
He wished this wasnt happening to them. After everything they did to keep it, buying everything for it, going through nine months of h*ll...
Killian's tiny head just rolled around as he was nudged.

"No. Trever, he's not dead!" He refused to admit it, his nudging getting rougher as he began to panic. His baby wasn't dead...

"Baby dont shake him up!" Trever gently moved to take Barry's hands, trying to stop the man. "Barry dont do that, come on...." He wasnt sure what to do, he just hated seeing Killian being shook like that. It wasnt even much, they had just been so careful with him...He had never been shook even that much.
