"Yeah, yeah." Brice had been talking to Trever daily about treatment options they had for Shannon.

Shannon stood slowly, testing out his legs while still holding onto the bed, making sure they wouldn't go numb on him before moving to make his way to the bathroom, dumping the clump of his hair into the trashcan and examining his head, making sure there were no noticeable bald spots.

Brice followed him, arms out stretched as if to catch him if he were to fall.
"Shannon?" He wondered what the boy was doing. "You look fine baby, fabulous even." He cringed at the thought of Jasey saying the same.

"I look terrible." Shannon sighed, cringing as he saw the slightest hint of scalp peeking through his thick blonde hair. He picked up the brush, rearranging his hair so the small spot was completely hidden before grabbing his makeup, going through his normal routine lately, which involved covering his face in about a pound of makeup each morning so he looked good again.

Brice disliked this little ritual but he never said anything about it. If it made Shannon feel better than Brice would smile and nod and allow him to be as he wanted to be.
"You look lovely baby."

"Thank you." Shannon flashed a wavering smile as he eyed his reflection in the mirror. He was sickly looking and he knew it..

Brice wrapped his arms securely around his lovers waist, pressing Shannon with his back to Brice's chest. "I actually would prefer you lose the make up, and the hair, and just be my boyfriend." Brice whispered into Shannon's ear, not even bothered buy the BOYfriend part.

I guess it doesn't matter, I look disgusting either way." He sighed, leaning into the boy's chest.

"Hey now." Brice snapped softly, immediately on edge with his lover. "I don't want to hear that from you."

"Don't tell me I don't Brice. You and I both know I look sick." Shannon sighed softly, running his fingers through Brice's short black hair.

"Sweetheart, you are sick. But your still beautiful!". Brice would always find Shannon to be beautiful. He was just that in love.

Shannon smiled genuinely at this, hearing the sincerity in his lover's words.
"Thank you..." He kissed him softly, wrapping his arms around Brice's neck.

"Now if you really want we can go out.". He sti would rather Shannon stay in though.

"We don't have to..." Shannon shook his head. "We can stay in and you can take care of me." He pecked the man's cheek. "We should do something though..." He let his nails trail down Brice's chest suggestively.

"Uh...Are you sure your strong enough for that? Maybe I should call Trever.". Brice worridly went on with his rambling.

"I'm sure I'll be fine." Shannon whined, nuzzling Brice's neck. "I need you." He murmured against the boy's tanned skin.

"I...". What could he say to that? He was just so worried though. What if Shannon over exerted himself?

Shannon let out a sigh, pulling back to look at Brice.
"I can't do anything." He groaned softly.

"Shannon...". He was killing Brice. Why couldnt he be a normal sick person?

Shannon sighed, shaking his head.
"It's fine, don't worry about it." He leaned his head on Brice's shoulder. "Carry me back to bed?"

Brice had no objections to this. Instead he carefully swept his arms under Shannon to lift him up.
"You okay? Comfortable?"

"Mhm." Shannon purred, curling into the boy's chest snugly. "Thank you." He murmured.

"Of course, batman at your service.". Brice smiled as he took Shannon back to the boys bed. He was careful with every step.

Shannon smiled sweetly, clinging to Brice's chest tightly as he was carried, curling up on the bed when they arrived.

Brice sat beside him, gathering his lover into his arms. "Your so adorable."
