"don't say that." THe large man spoke softly.

Angel glanced up at him, deep frown on his face.
"Gabriel...."

"Just don't say it." He said, firm this time.

"Even I know that one day you will have to accept it..."
His baby boy was gone and he was never coming back.
It fucking hurt....
But he was learning to live with it.

"ANgel. Stop." He repeated.

Angel just stared at him, shaking his head and curling up to let sleep take him. He would not pester he lover, he knew it was hard on the man...

Gabriel had taken his son's death very hard... He refused to accept the fact that Blaine was not coming back... ever...

Months went by, Brice growing more and more every day, looking so much like his mother, smiling and loving Gabriel like the man was his father. Angel was getting used to the idea of having Brice as his baby too now.

Gabriel spoiled the boy rotten just like he had done to Blaine. He loved Brice to death... his baby.

And Angel was pleased, he loved that Gabriel still got to be a daddy, a good one too. He was sheltering Brice even better than he had ever sheltered Blaine.

Gabriel had been trying so hard to be a good father for Blaine since he'd fucked up with Cade. Despite his efforts, Blaine had been taken too. This would NOT happen again. He was protecting Brice in every single way possible. He was never left alone, he slept with Gabriel and Angel.

Brice had taken to calling Gabriel his daddy even, being that he rarely saw his real father...
Soon he had become Angel and Gabriels kid.
Their baby.
And Blaines replacement.

Gabriel loved it. He needed a new baby... he would finally make things right with this one.

Months passed, it was getting closer and closer to Christmas, today had been four years. Four years Blaine had been gone...
And Kelton was just now going to pick Barry up from prison

Barry could have cried as they let him go outside. But he didn't of course.
He simply smiled as he looked around, jogging up to Kelton when he noticed him. He scooped the boy up and hugged him tight.

Kelton let out a loud squeak, his arms winding around Barry.
"Oh your so FREE!!"

"Hell yes I am!" Barry smirked, kissing the boys temple. "Damn, I missed you."

"I missed you too!" Kelton was so excited to have the man back, he had grown to love the man as family.
"You gotta come home! Angel is cooking for us! A big meal for you and Brice is waiting and daddy and Cade!"

Barry beamed, nodding and setting off for home, Kelton still in his arms.
"Damn its nice to be outside..."

Kelton nodded happily, inhaling deeply.
"It is nice...."

Barry grinned as he stepped into the home.
"I'm back!!" He chuckled, looking around for Brice.

Brice was in Blaine's old bear room with Gabriel, playing with the stuffed animals.
Angel met the man, poking his head through the kitchen and slowly easing himself over to Barry, opening his arms.
"Nice to have you back..."

Barry beamed, kissing Angel's cheek and lifting him with ease, he'd gotten a lot bigger and stronger in the time he'd been gone so it was even easier than before to lift the boy like he was nothing. He spun Angel around, hugging him close.

Angel squeaked loudly, hugging Barry tight.
"Barry!!" Angel was so happy..
"Gabriel! Barry is home!"

Gabriel came into the room with Brice on his shoulders, grinning at his friend and hugging him.
"Nice to have you back." They hugged for a moment, Gabriel kissing Barry's cheek before Barry smiled so wide it looked as if his face would crack. He grabbed his son and hugged him close.
"Baby..."
