The Vow

She blinked but hugged him back tightly.
"Hi..." She spoke tentatively. She'd been thinking all day and remembered nothing but she figured she must have dressed like this... why else would she have the clothes?

"Hey..." Aaron spoke softly, pressing her closer to him. "S-So you remember?"

"I-I'm sorry... No." She frowned, feeling bad for getting his hopes up. "I was just... messing around and put these on... but I like them... I used to dress like this all the time?" She asked.

You could feel Aaron's body slump at the information, his hopes falling.
"Yeah...You did..." Answered her, his voice slow and pained.

"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to get your hopes up..." She hung her head. She really did feel bad. She wished you could just remember him...

Aaron nodded, forcing a sweet smile to the girl.
"Its fine...How was your day?"

"It was alright. I like your dad." She grinned. "I talked to him most of the time."

Aaron nodded, he didnt doubt that, Quincy had always been good to her. He was so proud of that.

"How was work?" She asked lightly, stretching out on the bed.

"It was fine." He shrugged his shoulders, a normal day on his job, he worried more about ivory though.

"Well that's... good." She murmured awkwardly but curled up into his chest. It was nice and warm...

Aaron made no sound, he was far to immersed in the feeling of having Ivory so close to him again, it was familiar, he was everything he needed.

She'd soon dozed off, her arms winding around the boy's strong figure. She held herself as close as possible to him. Even if she didn't remember moments like this, she found it comforting...

As did Aaron, he knew she didnt remember but having her here with him like this gave him hope, more hope than he imagined he could muster after her accident.
"I love you..."
It was a mere whisper in the night.

The words fell on deaf ears. But even if she could hear him... she didn't know if she could say the same. She barely knew him now...

Morning came quickly, too quickly for Aaron's likings. He blinked his eyes open and let the haze of morning engulf him.
He really hated mornings.
His soft groan wafted through the room as he forced himself up.

Ivy had been awake for a while, simply sitting on the edge of the bed, her eyes closed as she concentrated, trying to remember something, anything.
She didn't even notice he'd woken at first.

His feet fell lifelessly off the bed, and his warm calluses hand pressed on her back, offering all the comfort in the world.
"Good morning.". His voice was husky and tired, but loving.

"Morning." She smiled softly, hesitating before leaning up and pecking his cheek. "You have work today?" She murmured. She sort of didn't want him to leave her but she wasn't quite comfortable enough with him to push it if he had to leave.

"Well that depends..." his voice was tiny, shaking as shock from that kiss rattled through him. He turned his head, look of utter adoration on his face as he gazed at her. "Do you need me here?"

"Do I NEED you? No... I'll manage. But if you're asking do I WANT you here, then the answer is yes..." She responded lightly, glancing up at him.

Aaron gave a soft smile, amusement twinkling in his eyes.
"Then I'm here."

"Thank you." She grinned, reaching out for his hand. There was just this comfort she had with him that she didn't understand.

Aaron called his work, and td them he was staying home today to take care of his sick lover.
"Anything I can do for you today?"

"Um... just lay with me?" She asked softly, lying back on the bed in her pajamas.
