A Second Round In Hell

"Who taught ya ta act like thes with yar lovers." Rhett shook his head, a bit irritated when Leon stopped coughing and went right back to smiling.

"Ya mean not hit em just cause ah'm en ah bad mood?" Cove snapped. "Ah taught myself that. Cause ah didn't have ah vereh good role model ta look off of." He muttered bitterly, stroking Leon's hair.

Rhett blinked at his son, even opening his mouth to retort though he decided to let it go. Why would Rhett let it go? Because it hurt his heart to hear that. Without any further words to Cove, he picked up his pace, getting as far from has is son as he could.

Cove sighed heavily. Yes, he was pissed. But he knew he had crossed a line and he hadn't meant it. Well... it had been partly true, Rhett was not the best role model when it came to relationships.
"Dad." He sighed, stepping over to catch up with his father. "Ah'm sorreh. Ah just... ah never wanted ta hurt Leon. Mom likes et but ah never wanted ta het Leon tha way ah saw ya hit mom." He had always thought it was normal to hit your lovers, good even. If his daddy did it, it had to be the right thing to do after all. His daddy was superman. But as he grew up, he watched other couples in the family and began picking up relationship tips from them instead.

"Ets fineh Coveh." Rhett brushed the boy off, he did not want to hear any apologies. He knew he had not been the best when it came to relationships but it still stung him. He knew he would get over it, but he also knew that right at that moment, he did not want to speak with Cove about it. Now all he wanted was to see his mother, and luckily he could see their home.

"Noh, et's not fine Dad. Et's not fair of meh ta say that to ya. Ah'm sorreh and ah want ta fix it or else we're gonna beh distant all day. And ah don't want ta ruin the little bit of time ah have with ya."

"Weh are fineh Coveh." Rhett snapped rather harshly, his upper lip curled in a snarl. He was never truly cruel to his son but he did have his temper and something simply couldn't be helped.

"Fineh." Cove shook his head, clutching Leon closer to his chest as he backed away from his father. "Ef ya want ta beh an arse, then fineh."

Rhett growled softly, shooting a warning glance back to his son. He did not want to fight with Cove today of all days. Leon squeaked softly at the look Rhett was giving his lover. He pressed close too Cove, murmuring softly. "I think he is mad..."

"Yeah, well heh can goh ahead and beh mad. Ah was jus' tryin ta apologize." Cove muttered softly, his arms tight around Leon.

Rhett simply picked up his pace, not wanting to so much as look at his son. The boy had hurt him, and that was something not many could do. Soon they arrived to an old two story home, most things looked to be ancient, but it was still nice. His mothers flower garden brightened the entire yard, something that put a smile on Rhett's face. It was good to be home.
On the porch was one rocking chair, where his father currently sat. The man looked so much like Trever it was stunning, but he also looked much more viscous. The door flung open to reveal a tall women, wearing a bright purple apron over her sun dress.
"Rhett! My baby!" The women cried, her light brown curls bouncing as he hurried from the home to greet her son. Their father, Dorrian, may have given Trever his looks but he got his build from his mother, lanky and tall, while Rhett looked like their mother, yet his form was large a burly like his father.
"Momma!" Rhett swept the women into a tight hug, swinging her around in circles as he did so.

Kyndal grinned brightly, watching the woman nervously as he moved to stand on his own, Toni doing the same. Although Toni had shrank back, hiding behind Trever's legs. Cove found a smile as well, watching his father and his grandparents happily. He had always hoped to meet them...

Dorrian rolled his eyes, standing from his seat on the porch to step closer to his wife and kids. "Well look here what kinda sh*t you brought up here." Trever crossed his arms at the mans voice but he paid it no mind, opening his arms for his mother to hug him. The women did so timidly, still remembering that her oldest son had caused her death. As soon as the womens eyes landed on Cove she cooed softly. "Thah musteh beh mah grandeh babeh!" Her accent was even a bit thicker than Rhett's as she stepped closer to Cove. "Ya look jus' like mah Rhett."

Cove grinned proudly, gently sitting Leon on his feet so he could stand upright, looking at the women curiously.
"Yes ma'am." He smiled softly, looking her up and down, extending a large hand. He was immediately fond of her, the accent soothed him, just like it always had with his father. "And ya must beh mah grandma."

"Yah, Ah'm yar grandmum, mah name es Ballet Braxton love." She pecked Cove's cheek, his eyes the same warm brown as Rhett's always was. "Ah ave' alwayseh wanted ta see ya mah boy."

Cove grinned at her as she kissed his cheek.
"Ah've always wanted ta meet ya too. Ah blame daddeh." He chuckled softly. No wonder he was so good looking, she was beautiful.

She was truly beautiful, his smile dazzling and her eyes shining. She was everything a man could want in a women. "An' whoeh es thes cuteh pieh." The women leaned down, her gaze focused on Leon. "Heh 'as pretteh eyes." Innocent eyes.
"Heh es a f*ckin' stand in until mah son can find someone better." Rhett growled softly, arms folded over his chest. His mouth was open to say more but he was silenced as his mother turned, sharply cutting him off with a deadly stare. "Rhett Tierney Braxton! Ah willeh nowt ave' ya talkin 'bout thes boy likeh thah. Ya ad better apoligize righ' now! 'fore ah get mah rollin' pineh!" Ballet threatened, one of her hands poised on her hips.

"Ah likeh her!" Cove grinned happily. "But thes es mah fiance, Leon." He smiled sweetly, taking his lover's hand.

Ballet continued to stare her son down until Rhett finally groaned, glancing to Leon. "Ah'm sorreh fer what ah said."
Leon just blinked at the large man, his head cocked to the side as he watched everyone. His hands were fiddling with his camera when Ballet leaned down to peck his cheek just as he did Cove's.
"Et's niceh ta meeteh ya love." She moved to smile at Cove. "Heh es vereh handsomeh love, ya look good tagether."

"Ah know, esn't heh gorgeous?" Cove smiled proudly. "Dad doesn't like hem, but ah love hem. Soh does momma."

"Mommah?" Ballet blinked, rather off set before she finally noticed Kyndal and the boys pregnant belly.
"Oh mah heavens! Ya musteh beh mah son en laweh." She reached out to hug the boy. "Oh yar gorgeous loveh!"

Kyndal beamed as he hugged the woman back.
"Kyndal Braxton, ma'am." He nodded proudly. "And thank you, I could say the same about you." His plump stomach pressed against the woman as she hugged him.

"Oh Mein Gott!" The women gaped down at Kyndal's stomach. She wasted no time, her hands immediately moving down to press on the boys belly. "Oh love, yar simply glowin'!!"

Kyndal beamed, nodding his head vigorously.
"I can't wait! And this time we'll bring the baby over right away to meet you." He chirped, smiling at the woman, happy she seemed to like him well enough so far.

"Oh love, ah would loveh thah!" She had cried many nights because she had missed out on being in Cove's life. She would love to be someone that the new child would know. "Ah think ya fer puttin' up with mah boy."
