Of Jealous Lovers And Crossed Boundaries.

"Leon..." Cove caught sight of the boy as he walked off. "Ah... ah didn't mean ta..." So much damn apologizing in one day.

Leon paused and turned, giving a sweet smile to Cove.
"It's K'." The boy was completely innocent. He didntt hold any malice in his heart for anyone. "I'll b' 'roun', jus' b' hap'y." And with that he went on, finding himself sitting over with Joss and Trever.

Cove made sure to keep an eye on Trever as he held Misery.
"How've ya been...?" He whispered softly, pressing the boy to his chest.

"Empty." He gazed up at Cove, his eye brows knitted together. "Not the same without you..."
He pulled back a bit through, his eyes searching for Carter.

"Ah missed ya... a lot." Cove nodded. Carter stood a few feet away, leaning against the pool table as he watched the two. It definitely hurt him... but he tried to ignore it. As long as Misery was happy.

"I know....I missed you too Cove...." He tilted his head, looking back at Carter with a gracious smile.
"I love you..." He mouthed, an adoring smile on his lips.
Carter loved him.
This proved it.
"Cove, can I ask you something?"

"Ask me anything." Cove nodded, watching Carter out of the corner of his eyes who returned the I love you with a smile.

"Is that really the reason we could never be together? Because I pushed people away? "
It was eating at him, he had sabotaged his own relationship with Cove without knowing...

"Et's a lot of different reasons Misereh. Et's... dad not wanting us tagether, et's meh meeting Leon at tha wrong time, and... et's a little bit of you pushing people away." Cove sighed heavily.

Misery nodded, smiling at Cove even though he felt an acute pain in his chest.
"Well then, you probably better go get Leon before someone else sweeps him off his feet." Misery could take the pain, he understood.
And indeed, Joss had just pulled Leon out into the middle of the floor, swaying with him to the beat. He even picked up Leon's camera and took a picture the two together.
Joss wasnt a love interest, he was just trying to cheer his friend up.
Looked awefuly suggestive though.

"Are weh okay?" Cove asked lightly as he glanced Leon. If looks could kill his cousin would be so dead right now.

"Yeah, I guess were alright." He let his friend go, hoping for Joss's sake that the song ended.
Misery moved, wrapping himself around Carter.
"Carter. I love you." He paused, looking up at him as if he were the only person that mattered. "Im yours."

"I love you too Misery." Carter pressed their lips together softly as Cove walked over and rather loudly threatened to choke Joss if he didn't get his hands off Leon.

Joss rolled his eyes at his cousin, holding his ground.
"Just because your too busy for him, doesnt mean im not." He shot back, smiling at Leon who seemed upset over Cove's reaction.

"Joss ah'll kill ya." Cove warned the boy, getting more and more furious by the second.

Joss rolled his eyes, frowning as Leon poked his larger cousin.
"Cov'e....I was' dancin'...."
It was a statement. He wasnt sure what he meant to get acrossed by saying it, but he felt the need to say something.

"And now ah'm dancin." The larger boy smiled as he took Leon by the waist, pulling him away from Joss and to his own chest.

Leon leaned into Cove easily, watching the larger mans feet as they danced. Leon had a knack for it, he had taken ballet classes for the longest time now.
"Cov'e...." The boy looked up to gaze at him. "Ar' you gon'a for'get 'bout me?"

"Nevar, love. Ah'll never forget bout ya." Cove smiled softly at the boy.

"Promis'?" Leon pondered further, hugging into Cove tightly. He worried about being forgotten. What if he were to die today? He was afraid no one would remember him a week from then,

"Ah promise love, ah love ya more than anything." Cove nodded, swaying to the music with the boy.

Leon ducked his head down, he obvious didnt believe that but he said nothing about it, even though he wanted to.
If Cove loved him so much, why love Misery?

"Et's true." Cove spoke in a professional tone as he spun Leon around. "Ah love ya."

"But...If you' lov'd me mor' than' any'thin'...Why is Misery' firs'?" He questioned softly, letting Cove lead him.

"Misereh isn't first baby... heh's nawt, you are." Cove smiled softly.
