"That's the problem, I can't just stop. It's not that easy." Sage sighed, though he did lean into Mack's shoulder, smirking at the boy.

"Eh, its possible." Mack knew people who lived to be sober, but he also knew those who never could and wound up dead.

"Well all I can do is try I guess..." He was so damn sick of trying... "Still up to meeting my dad?"

"Maybe, long as he don't kill me bro." Mack always liked to meet new people but the word was out about Quincy and it even had Mack weary.

"He won't." Sage nodded. "And we'll take Aaron along to make sure." He chuckled, reaching out for his brother's hand, dragging the two of them downstairs into the living room.

Aaron groaned softly, he was still in only his towel but he could never quite say no to his brother. In the living room, the first thing to draw attention was Dayton, who was standing behind Sean with a hand squeezing the boys butt. Secondly there was Quincy who had sat himself in the center of the couch so he could keep an eye on everyone.

Sage let out a groan as he saw Dayton, though giving Sean a light smile which was returned happily. He glanced around the room, feeling amazing to see all his family again. Many of the family was here. His parents, Sean and Dayton, even Gabriel and Calvin had come to visit bringing their son Jasey who Sage hadn't seen since he was much younger. And of course, Jasey never went anywhere without his partner in crime, Shannon VanArnam.
"Hey dad." Sage smiled softly, moving forward to hug his father close.

"Hey Sage." It was a tender grunt as Quincy's large hands tugged the boy into his chest, holding him there. He was someone who was feared by everyone, yet he always managed to be gentle with his babies.

Sage hugged his father tighter than normal, his face nuzzled in the man's neck. Quincy was one of the only people he felt truly cared about him and he missed the man a lot, even when he was only gone for short periods of time.
He glanced back at Mack, trying to figure out how to go about this without making Quincy despise the boy.

Quincy's large hand rested atop Sage's head, slowly rubbing the black locks of hair which adored the boys head. "Where have you been?" Quincy eyed Mack closely, he had known the boy was in his home, Quincy simply had those feelings when his kids brought someone over. Someone he was sure to dislike.

"I was over at Mack's house. Um, he's my new boyfriend." Sage nodded lightly, reaching back for Mack's arm. "I wanted you to meet him."

Quincy's eyes immediately narrowed on the boy, his jaw tightening as Sage introduced him. He already disliked this, Mack seemed too....Carefree, for his son.
"Sage..." It was said in warning, as in telling the boy he had better get Mack out of there.

"Dad, come on." Sage sighed. "Give him a chance. He hasn't even said anything yet."

It didn't matter what Mack said, he would never be good enough for one of Quincy's babies. No one was ever good enough for his children. "He doesn't have too." The man folded his arms over his chest.

"Dad." Sage sighed. "Please give him a chance?" He frowned deeply at his father, eyeing him closely.

"He is not good enough for you." Quincy shook his head, but he allowed Mack to be there, even if he did not want the boy to be.

"You don't even know him dad." Sage sighed. "And a lot of people would beg to differ. I'M not good enough for him." He was a drug addict, prostituted himself often, he wasn't worth much.

"Sage, watch your mouth! You are above the likes of him!" Quincy could hardly stand to hear his children down themselves. It left his heart aching.

"Then don't talk about him like that." Sage frowned. "You haven't even given him a chance, come on."

Quincy just growled a bit, he did not like this but for his son he would pretend to tolerate it, at least until he found a reason not too.
"I still dont like him."

"Just give him a chance." He nodded lightly, looking over at Mack. "He's not bad."

"He is high." Quincy did not beat around the bush, he could tell the boy was on something. His glazed over eyes gave him away.

"So am I." Sage said simply. "It's not the end of the world, dad."

Quincy's eyes narrowed on his son, his teeth grinding together in anger. "Your what?" The large man barked, his eyes burning into the boy.

Sage cringed. Seeing his father that angry was never a good thing.
"I'm high, dad." He repeated. "And I don't care anymore."
