Don't Need It...

Even weeks later, Chord would still bother Joslin every day.
There was only one day he wasn't there....
And then another...
and after three days, no Chord had been there.

Joslin was getting worried. Which was unusual for him...
One day he walked up to Aristotle and asked where his friend was.

"He....He is trying to get come custody over his kid and his old boyfriend who is the momma refuses to let him see the kid and lately he had been all depressed over it because he really is a good daddy....Ben is just pissed. Don't worry, im sure he will turn up somewhere."

Joslin nodded slowly.
"Why would his ex be so mad? Bad breakup?" He asked. Why was he getting himself into this....?

"Yeah, you see, Chord was trying to break up with him for like....months and he wouldnt listen so Chord said he was going to find a way to get Ben to let it go. He wound up fucking the boys best friend, and Chord being Chord tells Ben because one is wouldnt just be cheating on someone, he thinks its kinda wrong and he will admit he was wrong for that but hey, Ben let go, but then when he had the kid, Bruno, he takes him away and refuses to let Chord see him even though Chord pays for food and housing and clothes and everything..." Aristotle sighed softly, gazing up at Joslin. "He is a good guy, loves his baby, he just made a bad choice trying to get out of a relationship."

Joslin nodded slowly.
"Well... okay. i'm gonna go now..." He turned and walked out
Chord had been making him start to think maybe just maybe not all guys were assholes...
Wrong.
Goddamnit. Just as he was starting to think maybe he'd give Chord a chance he found out he was a cheater too....
His theory had just been proven right. All men cheated, lots just weren't caught...

Aristotle jumped up, running out and grabbing his arm, shaking his head at Joslin.
"Hey! Don't do that. He is a good guy. He fucking tried just breaking up! Ben wouldn't have it! So he had to or else he would leave the boy at the alter, how embarassing to be stood up at your wedding. At least he told him! Didn't go through with it! And he ONLY DID IT to end things with them. Don't you look at me like that, ytou don't know what it was...So don't you dare judge him or me or anyone. I don't know whats up with you, who hurt you or why, but not everyone is an ass. Chord is not an ass, right now, you are."

"You know what? I really don't give a fuck. I don't know you, I don't know Chord very well. I don't care what the circumstances are, anyone who cheats is fucking scum to me. You tell Chord he can die in a hole for all I care and if he tries talkign to me again he will get a size nine high heeled boot straight up his ass. I'm leaving now, and if you follow me again, same goes for you." He once again walked away.

Aristotle shook his head and waved a finger at Joslin.
"Oh hell no, fuck you, like we are scared, what a joke bitch. Your not worth our time anyways." And with a flip of his hair he strut back inside.

Joslin rolled his eyes as he strutted off home and sat down, sighing.

An hour later Chord stepped into the bar, flopping into a seat and cursing loudly.
Ben was being such a fucking bitch..

Joslin just sat at home for a few hours, running over things in his mind... He then stood and got changed, reapplying makeup and contacts, fake nails, everything.
He arirved at the bar with a smile as always, eyes narrowing when he saw Chord.

Chord glanced up at him, giving one of his bright flirtatious smiles as always. He gave a small wave to the other boy, not even noticing the change.

Instead of his usual eye roll, Joslin just glared, his eyes, if you could've seen behind the contacts were icy cold.
He sat down at his usual spot at the bar.

Chord stood, taking his normal seat beside Joslin and smiling.
"Hey beautiful."

"Didn't your friend pass along the message? Or do I need to do it myself?"

"What message? You finally decide to go on a date with me my loveable hermit man?" He chuckled lightly.

"No. That you are fucking scum to me and if you try and talk to me I will shove my foot up your ass." He snapped.

"Alright then." He nodded, licking his lips. "And im still talking so want me to just bend over here or go to the bathroom and do it?"

Joslin growled and stood, walking to the crowd on the dance floor and letting himself get caught up in it so Chord would have a hard time finding him.

But that didn't stop Chord, he stood and followed, finally getting to him and grabbing him around the waist, holding him close so he could whisper in his ear and be heard above the music.
"Hey, whats going on? Whats wrong all of a sudden?"

"Whats his face told me about you and your ex! You cheated! with his best friend! Which is even worse! Anyone who cheats is absolute SHIT in my book. I don't give a fuck what the circumstances were."

Chord sighed at him, looking into his eyes.
"So thats what it is, someone cheated on you...." His face showed true remorse and anguish. He had meant to do it, he planned it, but it was ruining everything.
"Joslin...Call me shit if you want to because I did cheat, and I had my reasons but don't sit here and judge me without taking the time to understand the situation. Your biased because you had the same thing done to you. But then again. I bet not because no one willingly plans to fuck around and tell their lover so the relationship will end."

"Chord, I'm not biased. Maybe I am, but whatever. I just think cheating is a shitty thing to do. You don't judge me either. You don't know what happened alright? So just go the fuck away."

'Hey, im not judging you and im asking you not to judge me Joslin. I have never placed judgment on you because I don't know all of your story and you don't care to know mine. And no, im not leaving."
