"Alright then good... just promise me you won't sleep with anyone else...?" It burned him...

Misery forced a smile, letting one of his hands slip up Carter's shoulder.
"For the right price...." He was teasing, he didnt ever plan on sleeping with anyone but Carter again.

Carter let his lips press against Misery's.
"Thank you..." He knew the boy was only teasing. And it really meant a lot to him...

Misery leaned into the larger man, glancing back at his phone.
"Delete it."
He wanted Cove gone...
He no longer couldnt handle him, anymore.

Carter nodded, pressing the delete button.
"Thank you..."

Misery nodded, a small smile quirking his features.
"Now, come on, im tired, and hungry...."

"Aren't you always?" Carter smiled lightly, leading the boy to the kitchen though. "Want me to make you something?"

"Neh, I think I can get it myself. You wont do it right." Misery winked at the other man, finding his way into the extravagant kitchen. "I can make you something too."

Cove had just arrived home and it was sinking in what had really just happened. He'd been an ass. To his Misery... He plopped down in the living room, looking around before realizing... Misery was always who he talked to when he was upset... He crept up to his parent's room slowly and for the first time in years, he slipped under the covers, and silently laid his head on his father's chest.

Rhett was stretched out, his left arm wound tight around Kyndal, and one of his large legs resting over both of his smaller lovers limbs. As soon as he felt Cove slide in, he smiled softly and let his other arm press his son close.
"Coveh..." He pressed his lips into the top of his sons hair, inhaling the scent that was his baby boy. "Ya alrigh'?"

"Ah'm fine..." Cove nodded slowly, saying nothing more. He was no longer a child.... But he needed his daddy.

Rhett growled softly, cracking an eye open to look at his son. He knew good and well his son was a big boy, not a child anymore. But even so, Cove was his son. His only child, and his baby boy. Rhett, even though he was an arse of a man, was a very devoted and loving father. He would do anything for Cove.
"Yar nowt fineh, or ya wouldnta come in er'." The large Scottish man dead panned, "Ya don' lie ta meh boyeh." His arm tightened around his son protectively. "Doh ah needta open ah bottela whopp arse on somehoneh?"

"Ah... et was mah fault, dad. Et's alright." He gave a halfhearted smile. He NEVER admitted that something was his fault... but he knew this was.

This had Rhett moving to sit up, his eyes open and aware. He shifted as not to wake Kyndal, but still moved to pull his son tight to his chest, his eye brows furrowing.
"Coveh, whah happendeh? Wha's yar faut soneh?"

"Ah just.... ah had ah fight with ah friend alright? Et'll beh okay, dad, promise." Cove spoke, his accent thickening with his depression.

"Whah friendeh?" Rhett's voice was soft, but obviously strained with anger.
His son was hurting.
And so he hurt, too.

"Ah don't want ya ta hurt em. Ah love em." He shook his head. "Promise ya won't hurt em?"

"Depends on whah heh dideh." Rhett's frown deepened at the thought of his soon hurting.

"Ah told ya, they did nothen... et's Misereh. Weh're fighting..." Cove sighed. "Ya can't hurt em.."

Rhett seemed put off by the mention of Misery. Cove and Misery were always so dang close. He hated the love interest there but he had always been glad Cove had a friend.
"Coveh, ya an Misereh ave' ad' fighs' beforeh." The large man frowned. "Ya neva stayeh made ah eachotha fer moreh than ah dayeh."

"Thes es different, though." Cove shook his head. He knew it was... He felt it.

"Howeh?" Rhett just didnt see it the same way. His son and Misery fought like cats and dogs sometimes. He blamed it on Misery being a miserable b*tch that didnt know his place but he never said much to Cove about it. He didnt want to upset his son.

"Et jus' is. Ya didn't see tha look on hes face. We're nawt just fighting... ah think ah hurt hem." He frowned.

Rhett rolled his eyes at the boy, shaking his head.
"Ah highleh doubteh thars anehthin' ya can doh ya huteh thah boeh." Misery had always been either apathetic or angry. He was never upset or hurt.

"Why don't ya ask hem?" Cove said simply. "Ah messed up..."
