And with that, Junior hung up.

Jude blinked.
"R-rick? Rick?" Tears slowly brimmed over his eyes as he snapped the phone shut, sobbing softly.

Rick had hung up, he was done...
He couldnt do this

Jude bawlde into his hands as he curled up on his bed. What had he done wrong? What had he done to make Junior say they were over.
How DARE he tell Jude to move on. How was he supposed to do that? He'd kept loving Junior for almost ten years while he was missing. Now, he knew he existed and he just... couldn't have him?
But... that wasn't fair...
His heart was aching so bad... he swore it had literally split in half, not just figuratively...
He sobbed heavily as he made his way downstairs, barely able to see through his tears.

Quincy was currently still sleeping down stairs on the couch, his snores filling the large living room as the tired man slept, his chest moving as he breathed.

Jude whimpered softly as he gently reached out and shook his father's shoulder, his face a bright red, tears rolling down his cheeks.

Quincy grumbled softly, flipping over.
"Precious....Im tired....lemme sleep."

"O-okay..." Jude sniffled, sitting on the arm of the couch by his father.

Quincy's eyes immediately snapped open as he heard the voice...
His baby...
Crying.
He sat himself up quickly, Jude being tugged into his chest seconds later.

Jude sobbed softly into his father's chest, hugging tightly onto him.
"D-daddy..." he whimpered softly.

"Shhhh Jude...Baby...I know." He stroked his babies hair his strong arms wound tight around the small boy.

"R-rick.... h-he.." Jude couldn't finish his sentence as he hugged his father as tight as he possibly could , soaking the man's shirt with his tears.

"I know baby, you dont gotta say anything." Quincy shook his head, pressing kisses into his babies hair.

"Wh-what do y-you m-me-mean you kn-know?" The boy cried, glancing up at his daddy with eye's just like his biological father's.

'I mean Jude, I know its got to be about Junior and you...just shhhh." Quincy shook his head.

Jude sniffled and nodded at him, crying hard into his father's stomach.

Quincy's heart ached.
His poor baby boy....
"Shh..."

Jude just stayed like that for a long time, bawling until he ran out of tears...

Quincy kissed the top of his head.
"Shhh Its alright Jude."

"No. it isn't..." Jude sighed softly, moving to kiss his father's cheek.

"Im Going to MAKE it okay." Quincy spoke firmly.

"You can't make it okay daddy... just... thank you for holding me." He nodded at him.

Quincy pressed him tighter, growling at the thought of not being able to make it okay for his baby.

Jude sighed, sniffling softly. He had told Aaron, Quincy could not protect him from everything... couldnt protect his heart from being broken.

But Quincy could try and he always would no matter what.
