Strange Love.

Beau stood in the corner of the dimly lit club, lurking on the outskirts of the dance floor. He was not much for dancing himself, at least not this kind of dancing.
Although he was a man of luxury, he came out to these types of clubs sometimes. It was nice to spend a night relaxing instead of worrying about being prim and proper all of the time. It was nice enjoying a beer for once instead of wine or champagne.
But tonight, he had a purpose for coming here other than relaxation. He was here to find someone to pose as his lover.
He knew no one he already knew would do. He didn't want someone used to his lifestyle, they would think too highly of themselves, not be willing to do as he told them. Plus, introducing someone to luxuries they'd never had before was always fun.
He was still unsure what he was looking for in his lover. He was hoping someone would simply fall into his lap, perfect for the role. That didn't look to be happening, although there was one man who had caught his attention.
He was about Beau's height, though with a much larger frame. He was all muscle with caramel colored skin that Beau wished he could touch. He looked as if he were here to take someone home and yet, he had yet to approach anyone. It was intriguing, to say the least.
Beau was already making the decision that this man was the one he was looking for. Now he just had to get him to come this way.

Denahi was sitting in a booth to the back of the bar, a place where he could get a complete visual on all the people while still keeping a low profile.  Tonight he had not been able to handle being alone.  Ever since he'd found Wiley again he'd been spoiled by the boys warmth and love, the blissful comfort of always having his Kwanita there.
Wiley had taken that away from him several months ago now, but Denahi still couldn't find it in himself to swing back by the boys trailer.  It was too much, the way  he had adored Wiley only to be let down once more.
The young native had finally given up.
Now he was only here to find someone to occupy his time for the night.  He never wanted any more than that.  And really the beer didnt hurt, even if it wasnt as numbing as the werewolf had hoped.  So far he hadn't found anyone worth talking to, no one that he would want keeping his company, even for a night.  This lead to his current state of being sprawled in his booth, slowly puffing on a cigar as he lowered his standards and glanced around the room once more.

Beauregard was never one to make the first move. Usually he had his pick of anyone in a place, simply because he exuded confidence. They all came to him. He did not plan on changing his methods tonight. He would simply have to pique the man's interest.
He moved over to the booth where Denahi sat, making an effort to look like he was disinterested as he perched himself directly in front of it, leaning against the empty seat. He never even looked in Denahi's direction, acting as if it were merely coincidence he'd chosen to stand here. He was too cocky for his own good, sure that this man could not possibly resist making a move on him.

Denahi merely glared at the new comers back, his fingers twitching as he tried to resist the urge to growl at the boy.  The way he was positioned completely blocked off the young wolf's view of the other people swaying out on the dance floor. But Denahi had not come here for a fight.   He had enough of that waiting for him outside.   So instead the native merely shifted to the side so that he could see around Beau, an irritated grunt leaving him as he did so.  For a while he stayed this way,  trying to look past the boy, but as time continued to tick  by, his patience was steadily wearing thin.
Finally Denahi couldn't hold his tongue any longer, his golden eyes burning into Beau's  back as he finally lost himself. 
"Listen broad  back, crocodile is tired of you standing in his way. "  The werewolf huffed smoke in the boys direction, the many rings on his fingers clanking together as he moved to take another puff from his cigar.
"Move now." 
It was an order.  A demand.   With full threats backing it up.

Beau turned around slowly, one eyebrow arched almost threateningly, as if he dared Denahi to command him again. Instead of moving out of the way, he took a step closer to the other man, so he was standing directly in front of him then, glancing down to meet the golden eyes glaring at him.
"Last time I checked, people are allowed to stand wherever they please. Unless you're going to make me move." He was just barely smirking as if Denahi had just told him a joke. His words were a challenge as he stood there. Denahi might be larger than him but Beau was not easily intimidated. He carried himself with such confidence, as if everyone should know how important he was and respect him because of this.

"Crocodile will do more than make you move, fat mouth."  The native immediately rose to the challenge, his golden eyes narrowing in one last warning to the boy. "But he does not want to.  So he is still giving you the option to step the fuck off." Normally he would have already swung on Beau, hating to have anyone talk down to him. But something stopped him.  Maybe it was the green eyes or the way the boy moved.  Either way, Denahi found he didn't want to ruin the bastards face.  "You should take it and go, while you still have the chance."

"How about we make a compromise instead, yeah?" Beau still wore the smirk as he slid into the booth across from Denahi. "I get out of your way and sit here instead. And I pick up your tab for the rest of your night, as many drinks as you want." He gave a wink then as he eyed the Native, appreciating the golden color of his eyes. Yes, he would do just fine for a lover.
He'd already made up his mind, Denahi would be coming home with the man, whether the man knew it or not yet.

"Uh-huh,"  Denahi was still tense as he watched Beau sit across from him, his fingers tightening on the beer in his hand.  He couldnt trust people.  Especially people like this.  The boy had come here for a reason.  People didn't start fights and then end them by sitting down and offering to pay for drinks. 
He had ulterior motives. 
"And what would the catch for these drinks be, oh generous one?"  His golden eyes were still guarded and dark, unwavering as they raked over Beau's form.  If he needed to, he was sure he could take the boy.  But that didn't seem to be the case either.
Was the kid looking for a quick fuck?
He could certainly handle that.  Beau was gorgeous, undeniably so.  And even though the boy seemed to have an attitude about him, Denahi was sure he could handle it for one night.
"Have you come to test your luck with the crocodile?"

"The crocodile? Is that what you call yourself?" Beau chuckled softly at this. "Well, crocodile, there's no catch to the drinks. I guess I'm just a generous man." He wore the faintly amused smirk still as he spoke. "I won't lie, I do have hopes that the drinks will persuade you to end up with me tonight, but there is no obligation of course. I'll pay for them anyways." He reassured, leaning back in the booth and stretching out until he was comfortable lounging there.

"Crocodile is not stingy with his company if thats what you want.  And he never turns down a free drink."  Denahi finally relaxed, able to tell by the boys heartbeat that he was telling the truth. He could definitely handle this. "But tell the crocodile, why risk buying his drinks with the chance he tells you to fuck off in the end when you could find someone who is a sure deal, eh? Not that the crocodile is complaining or anything, he simply wants to know what game we're playing." The man finished off his beer and waved for another.  He might as well if the big mouth was paying.

"Crocodile doesn't even know your name."

"I don't want someone who throws themselves at me." Beau spoke simply, ordering himself a beer as well. "And buying the drinks isn't a problem." He shrugged it off before extending a firm hand across the table. "My name is Beau. What's yours? Assuming it isn't Crocodile, of course." He chuckled, olive colored eyes scanning over the man, making no effort to hide the way he was examining him. He had to be perfect, of course. All of Beau's suitors had to be.

"Crocodile doesn't like handing out information, but he supposes that if you're paying then he might as well." The native reached out a tanned hand to shake Beau's, his fingers tight as they curled in greeting. "My name is Denahi."  He settled back into his booth, golden eyes once more scanning Beau's face. "And you will not ever have to worry about the crocodile throwing himself at you." While the boy was gorgeous, he was simply too cocky for Denahi to handle.

"Well we'll just have to wait and see about that." The corners of Beau's mouth twitched slightly as he fought off his cocky grin, pausing to take a drink. "Everyone seems to do it after a while. I can't blame them, really. I'm quite a catch in case you hadn't noticed." Most of the time, Beau hardly realized how ridiculously conceited he sounded. Currently though, even he knew he was being obnoxious. It seemed to get a rise out of the Native across from him and any reaction, even a negative one, was better than none at all.

"Get your head out of your ass, big mouth."  Denahi scowled at the way Beau spoke of himself, as if he were a precious god send.
Wiley was his Kwanita.
This boy was simply arrogant beyond reason.
"The crocodile will admit, you are nice to look at.  But your attitude is shit. Makes you smell sour, rotten." The young werewolf's nose scrunched as though he were disgusted. To combat this he was pulling out another cigar, his fangs gleaming as he tore the end from it.

"Last time I checked, I was not the one with an attitude at this booth." Beau spoke simply, eyeing the cigar with distaste. "And that's not the way I'd speak to someone generously picking up my tab, but to each their own, I suppose." His smirk was back then as he finished off the rest of his beer in a few more gulps. "So, Denahi, more about you. What exactly were your intentions in coming here tonight?" He paused then, simply staring at the man as if he were trying to figure something out. He sat back in the seat, brow furrowed as he thought, before finally he spoke up and answered his own question. Judging from your chain smoking, nasty attitude, and bitter expression, I'm going to guess you're here looking for a rebound after a particularly unpleasant breakup." He nodded, satisfied expression on his face. "I would ask you to confirm if I'm right or not, but I already know I am so it'd be rather pointless." He shrugged lightly.

"Crocodile does not like the way you run off at the mouth.  It is unflattering, and that is a shame being you have such a pretty face." Denahi had immediately recoiled at the boys words, his body tensing in thought of Wiley and how easy he was to read.  His Kwanita had made him soft. 
"You know nothing about the crocodile, so do not fool yourself into thinking that you do."  The young werewolf was beginning to rethink allowing this boy to pay for his drinks.  He certainly didn't want to owe Beau anything. The less there was to hold over his head the better.
"Crocodile has come here to escape loneliness."  The native wasnt sure why he was gifting this man with any sort of answer.  He didn't deserve one.  "But what about you, eh?  You come and you weasel your way into crocodile's booth. What do you want here? If it was merely sex then there is much easier prey." This boy was after more.

"Well sex is definitely on the table if you're interested." Beau smirked slyly before continuing on. "How'd you like a job, crocodile? I guarantee you it pays well. Truth is, that's why I came here tonight, looking for the right person for the job. Sex would just be a bonus."

"What kind of job are we talking here, brat?"  Denahi leaned back into the booth, propping his booted feet onto the counter top.  He was pleased to finally draw an answer from the young man, to know why he had come here and what his true intentions were.  "By the looks of you, complete with that cocky ass attitude, crocodile would guess you were looking for a body guard of some sort."  He could only imagine how many people wanted to plant their fist against Beauregard's perfect jawline. He himself included.

"I've already got one of those when it's necessary." Beau waved the suggestion off with a chuckle. "Your job would be much more important than that. You see, I happen to run a fairly important company. And it doesn't look too well when no one has ever seen me with a significant other, bad for my reputation. Not to mention my parents, they think I'm just hiding someone from them. But I'm not in the market for a real lover anytime soon." He simply had never had those romantic feelings for anyone. "So this is my solution. I pay you to attend my events, posing as my lover. We can discuss any other arrangements later. You just seem like I could dress you up rather nicely. My lover has to be perfect, of course."

"If you want perfection then you should look some place else."  The native spoke finally, after several minutes of merely pondering over Beau's proposition. It wasn't something he was fit to do.  One look at him in his dirty leather should have been enough to convince the boy. "The crocodile has never been perfect, and he doubts he ever will be." Beauregard wanted someone to impress people, wearing suits and probably acting like his little lap dog.
Fuck no.
"The crocodile thinks you would do better to rethink your offer.  Big mouth knows nothing about me, so allow crocodile to tell you."  Denahi dropped his feet from the table, his boots landing on the floor with  a heavy thud.  The young werewolf leaned closer to the table then, his golden eyes glowering on Beau.  "He does not play dress up, and he does not need any obligations in his life."  It was complicated enough as it was without Beauregard and whatever job he was trying to sell.

"You may not be perfect, but you're perfect for me. I don't know if you're aware how aesthetically pleasing your face is but I certainly am." It meant a lot for Beau to pay such compliments. He had never found anyone as attractive as he found himself but Denahi was certainly coming close. "I want you, Denahi. So I'll do anything in my power to get you to agree to this. Would you play dress up for ten grand a week?" He arched an eyebrow questioningly.

"A week?"  Denahi was sure the man had misspoken. That kind of money was...
It seemed impossible to the native.  In his entire life, the most he'd ever held in his hands had been only five hundred, and that had was from a fight.  "You want to pay the crocodile ten grand to play dress up and be your escort? Just because you like his face?"  The young werewolf could hardly believe it.  But even so, it was weighing heavily on his mind.
That was a lot of money.
Enough for him to start a new life entirely.
He could have a home.

"Yes, a week." Beau smirked softly at the man, enjoying the shock on his face. "It won't be a problem for me. We can talk about more if that isn't enough for you?" He was almost grinning as he spoke. "And I'd like you to play dress up for me for more than just your face. You've got a pretty nice body too." He chuckled softly. "But I also like your attitude. You're unique, Denahi."

The native had to check himself to make sure that his jaw hadn't fallen open at how easily Beau spoke of this money.  Like it was nothing.  A whim.
Denahi wanted to hate him for it.
What had this asshole ever done to deserve such leisure?
"This job, how long does it last?  Is the crocodile bound to you for any set amount of time?"  How long would he have to wait before leaving this place? The young werewolf wanted to escape his life here.  He was tired of missing people, tired of losing them.
Kenai had been gone for years now, and that had been on him.
Sitka made it so.
And Wiley...He had lost Wiley then only to find him again, and love the boy as his entire world, his Kwanita.
He had lost that, too.
He had nothing else to lose, and he was ready to get out.

"I would like to keep you around for however long you'll stay. But you will be bound to the job for at least a year. After that, you are free to leave or you can stay longer, whichever you choose." Beau nodded. He had gotten much more professional now, sitting straight in the booth with his hands folded across his lap. "We'd talk more about the actual job requirements if you agree. I'll have a contract written up."
