Of Repetition and Time

"Do we have too! I was just planning my sneak attack on the ducks!" The boy rolled off of Manuel, careful of his stomach. "But I am hungry Peruvian Papi!"

Manuel chuckled softly at the boy.
"We can get something to eat at this club I used to go to. The bar serves food and there are booths on one floor and the dance floor is on another." He nodded.

"Do you think there is such thing as pickle flavored icecream?" Augustus sat up, trying to get to his feet. It was already a bit hard for him walking with this bump, once it got bigger he worried he would be bed ridden.

"I've never heard of it." Manuel laughed, shaking his head. "Are you having cravings or are you always this weird?" He pecked the boy's cheek.

"A little of both.". Augustus felt a blush creeping up his cheeks. "Im kinda wiggy.". He was weird, he knew that, but he hoped Manuel didn't mind it.

"Good, I like it." Manuel winked at the boy, standing and helping him up, leading him back out to the car.

Augustus sat himself down in the passenger seat, hand resting on his stomach as he watched his lover. "So, this club, whats it like?"

"I always thought it was nice. It's not dirty or anything. It's just a place I always went to have a good time." He shrugged lightly as he made his way towards the place.

Augustus nodded his head, satisfied with this. He had not wanted to go anywhere dirty, he was here to have a nice time with his lover.

Manuel had never been much of a partying type of guy, even when he was younger. But he occasionally went out just to have some fun. And after meeting James here it had become one of his favorite places.
He pulled up out front, opening Augustus's door for him before leading the boy inside.

Augustus's jaw was slack with wonder. He had never been in a club before, and it truly did amaze him. The music, the lights, the dancing and drinking people. He found he enjoyed it here, which Augustus loved all people, and it was nice to just see so many having a good time.

Manuel grinned as he pressed Augustus to his side. His lips moved to the boy's ear and he had to talk quite loud even then to be heard over the music.
"Would you like to dance or eat first?" The restaurant part was on the upper floor.

Augustus paused in thought, looking down at his stomach as he did so. He would like to eat, but he didn't want to eat and then dance, and wide up getting sick.
"Can we dance first!" Augustus found it quite difficult to be heard over the music, his cheeks pink as he tried.

"Of course!" Manuel called back, chuckling softly as he led his lover out to the center of the dance floor, spinning him around before holding him close to his chest.

Just the spin had almost landed Augustus on his arse in the middle of the dance floor, but he managed to keep on his feet, holding tight to Manuel. He glanced around the club at all the people, smiling absentmindedly at their happiness. The world was a wonderful place.

"You're so sweet." Manuel hummed. He adored how kind Augustus was all the time. That had been a quality he always adored in James. His eyes were drawn to a spot on the dance floor, directly under one of the colored lights. Where he had first spotted James, dancing with several friends.

Augustus grinned up at Manuel, proud of the compliment. One way he and James would have differed was friends. Augustus had none. Honestly Augustus only had his mother and Manuel. Not many peopled cared to bother with him. He was a weird ginger.

Manuel placed his hands on Augustus's hips, swaying around with him on the dance floor, grinning at the familiar surroundings. He would never admit to Augustus just how much this place made him miss James...

And that was a good thing, or Augustus may never be able to come back. He did not want to be a replacement for James. He did not want Manuel to think about James when looking at him. He was Augustus, and he wanted Manuel to be happy here with him, not because he remembered James. Of course Augustus could understand missing someone, but it was different when you were taking him out somewhere and your mind was not on him. He would feel the only reason he was here was because he was a reminder of James, not because he was himself.
"Having fun? Augustus swayed around, wishing they would play something more his style.

"I am." Manuel nodded, his accent thick as his breath washed over Augustus's face. "I love you so much." The music was all upbeat, in a language Augustus would not understand.

And he didn't, not at all. Augustus would much rather be dancing to something in English, sang by Elvis Presley. But if course he was enjoying this, being here with Luca. "I love you too Peruvian Papi!" Augustus strained for the man to hear him.

Manuel spun the boy around, holding him steady as they danced.
"Are you having fun too?" He called over the music, instinctively dancing them over towards the spot he'd seen James.

"Yeah!" Augustus nodded enthusiastically, his red hair bouncing around him as he did so. He reached up, with a hand rubbing his cheek. He would like to blend in here more, he didn't enjoy all the eyes on him because of his red hair. He considered dyeing it again while they were here but he figured that would upset Manuel so he had thrown the thought out. "Its really nice! The music is very loud!"

Manuel chuckled, nodding in agreement.
"It is!" He smirked lightly. "We can go eat if you'd like? It's quieter up there."

"Please!" All the yelling and loud booming of the music was giving him a headache, and as a pregnant person that was not pleasing. The boy stepped forward to remove himself from the dance floor, only to fumble and trip over himself. He crashed into the floor, and was immediately swarmed by several men. All trying to help him up, all smiling, all speaking a different language.
He thought his head would explode.
